  9. 11. hey birddog, heres a range shot of 3 weeks ago, they are all tuckered out from being shot up,the coach gun performed very well, still stiff to open and I converted the saftey to manual.Thinking about traden her in for the new coachgun supreme, what do you think about that? Peace birddog---------M1014

  13. heres my M1014 carrier bolt link with alot more wear because I shoot the sh%t out of mine every chance I get.this is normal wear on the weapon, plus the O-ring dilema is caused by not completely srcewing out the gas piston and O-ring away from the gas cylnder,Plus I would make sure your firring pin retaining pin O-ring is fully seated and not a half bent installation, check out the zoom view on the Italian website or another Benelli somewhere eles. seeya M1014
  14. M10144me,I would like to know if its the pic or is that an oversize carrier bolt release button?,how about a close up shot ?,thanks M1014 PS:AWESOME M1014 YOU HAVE
  15. Greetings shepsan, theres alot of defensive books and vidieos out there,E-bay has good used vidieos and books on home defensive with a shotgun, also Amazon books on the web,Use key words like tactical or defense to start your search on these items.Good luck M1014

  17. hey M10144me,you're looking at about $15.00 for a plastic Tac Star model,I;ve experiemented with alot of them, the mutilated discarded models are all over the floor.Trial and error is the way to success.peace to you my Benelli brother---------------------M1014
  18. thankyou
  19. hey M10144ME,whats up,3 key points on the heatshield install, first is ,get a heatshield with the long rear ears, second ,get a dremmeLLLLLL and carefully plan out the forend material removal so that your foerend and rear ears fit snuggly together durring reassembly, third, more home engineering on some shims for the front barrel clamps, you"ll see why, take your time and have fun,M1014

  22. whats up M10144me,I've been testing with the plastic Tac Star stuff, the ones with ears and the ones without,I got one on my M1 Super 90 Tactical that fits great with some fore end work, ain't choppin into my M1014,no way man.Shims are also required where the barrel clamps are also,I got one neat and squared away on one Benelli,I can do it on another, its definitely a trial and error thing,do not rush on the project.seeeeeyyaaaaaaa---M1014
  23. yes,yes,too you're questions,look at the Benelli site, shop the web,I gonna get me a Nova Tactical too,18.5 barrell, mag extension,the works,and then some,peace my Benelli brother---M1014 [ 04-23-2004, 03:46 PM: Message edited by: M1014 ]
  24. you're questions are valid, the one question I can answer is yes,to the name of the non limited edition gas operated Benelli, its called the M4,as far as your other questions go, :confused????????????maybe someone else will come foward with other answers.I know the M1014 bolt carrier is far supierior to all other Benellis because of some extra cutting along the top of the carrier bolt z channel that alows the cam pin to operrate very smoothly. see ya M1014
