  3. greetings,Benelli SBE teardown procedure sounds good, but do not ever use WD40,use the factory recommened grade or some other high grade oils,WD40 is for household stuff not a high performance firearm.thankyou M1014
  4. Hey Man,I dont own an M3 but would like too.The reviews are great.I do own the gas operated M1014 or M4 as you call it.In a possitive manner ,NOTHING LIKE IT,GREAT firearm, fun to shoot, easy maintinence and above all very reliable, plus it looks cool too.Excellent reviews also, hope this helps,M1014 [ 10-09-2003, 07:45 PM: Message edited by: M1014 ]
  5. check out the catalog dude, M1014
  6. wouldn't see why not;the factory threads are most likely all standard,i could check this out within a decent time frame if your really really intrested, see ya M1014
  7. Excellent review,Thankyou,M1014
  8. Do not use wd-40 or any other type of cheap lubricant.Benelli shotguns have factory reqiurements that are to be used. My manuals have a guide line on cleaning and maintinence and so should yours. M1014

    SUper 90

hey there,as far as I can tell, Super 90 is part of a model designation, such as M1 super 90 Tactical.Pick up a Benelli catalog and thumb through it especially the back where the specs are seeya M1014
  11. this is the scoop on these aftermarket products, some fit and operate better than others, the factory stuff is the best,I've spent time and money and still doing so to get optimum performance and fit,so its all about ,trial and error for the individual's suit.gonna update the Benelli pics with some new trial and error stuff later. take it easy M1014
  12. Gentlemen,it didn't install for me, I tried it and the shapes and lengths are noticeably different. My friend owns a Practical model,he says that bolt handle will fit any Benelli model but you have to try and get one from Benelli.hope this helps,M1014

    Benelli family

I'm pleased to introduce the Benelli family from the Tampa Bay Area, thankyou M1014 http://www.hpphoto.com/sessions/582951411024/24568390lg.jpg [ August 18, 2003, 04:01 PM: Message edited by: M1014 ]
  21. hey Tacman,He bought the firearm in 1999, on the east coast in some hole in the wall shop ,things where alot different then,it only came with the one tube, and the speedloader kit and was cheaper then. These days they sell more tubes and a metal muzzle brake etc.The Practical model is a very fine weapon over all brands. He is out of town now so I'll talk to him another time.Keep trying and stay dry M1014 [ August 09, 2003, 04:15 PM: Message edited by: M1014 ]
  22. Tacman,I called my partner who owns a Practical model also,he says it is a two piece item and that you might have to get two pump pliers on it ,in a manner as not to damage your item. The threading will be standard not opposite, also he installs the tube first ,tightens with choke wrench, then puts lube on the threads and installs the muzzle brake.Brownells has more info on extra tubes etc,as soon as my webmaster is better , I'll try to get some pics of the Benelli family on here.hope this helps M1014
  23. littman,I had that problem with my M1 super 90 Tactical when it was new,if the headbolt is not giving positive lockup, no insert.Break in time and staying lubricated was my cure,if not, start toubleshooting, good luck M1014 [ August 02, 2003, 06:37 AM: Message edited by: M1014 ]
  24. duv,it does work,I had to read and practice it alot, because its easier on some Benellis than others.Try using your middle finger, press the carrier latch on several of the most foward spots and you should see and feel the most movent of the carrier latch, and that will be when the shells start comming out.Check for movement when the firearm is empty then go for it,Saftey First, seeya M1014
  25. homeinvader, good idea,I put my M1014&m1 super 90 side by side and noticed the recievers are shaped differently ,especialy at the rear, doesn't look like the pistol grip will match up evenly with the M1 or if it will even slide up all the way.A recoil spring tube interchange would be neccessary to even try this and thats if the interchange is possible.Looking at my factory manuals,it looks tricky but not impossible.good luck M1014
