  7. heyman,I draw the line at the optics, maybe in the new year,$$ you know. Now about your forend,I'am not opposed to forend Modifications, just go to my M1 super 90 tactical pics, doesn't hurt a thing when care is taken..Sounds like your forend and barrel are not matting or seating or aligning proprerly together.I would rehearse the excersise that you mentioned very slowly and carefully with good light, you'll find your answer. let us know your results on everything,M1014
  8. hey man,it sounds like I would change gun smiths immediatley;he is BSing you,I think all Benelli recievers are of the same thickness,I say this with complete confidence, based on my research and development work on the brand, where did you read about needin an differnt foregrip for your fire arm?they look the same in the cat.some people are shy;I'M always willing to help a Benelli Brother or sister when I can, hope this helps m1014

  10. On page 5 of the Benelli 2000 catalog, describes the humps for the use of the speedloader tool,I've expierienced the older model speed loader with no luck and plenty of frustration ,Jim Clark's shotgun vidieo shows him doing it just fine, its up to the individual.Iam also and M4 SUPER 90 FAN, did some major research and penny saving before getting my M1014,LOVE IT.I can put 9, 2-3/4 shells in her and get it on take it easy M1014

  12. Guns of America site
  13. hey man,Thanks for the site reference, some after market products are good and some not so good, SRM site reads vaguely about lighter loads on inertia systems. One would have to call the company to clarify.Sounds like the 25% gain is in reliability not versatilty.Theres seems to be alot of chatter about the recoil spring.Mine has always worked fine on my M1 super 90 and my M1014,same with my partner'sBenellis. Theres nothing wrong with the factory stuff especially if it Ain;t broke. In my experience, cycling problems are usually elsewhere in the system, like owner failure.Lets not forget about money either, this stuff ain't cheap and there research and development is not impressive, buyer beware. Safe Passage your Benelli friend M1014
  14. what is a srm?
  15. Paul,Break out those other close up pics,I grew on a Benelli Practical, check out the Benellis on the tactical topic,my buddy added some options on his Practical.Gonna be putting on some more pics also of the updated versions.take it easy M1014
  16. tonym, not all is lost, even though the warranty is over, you can buy another barrell or sell the weapon, and use the dough to start saving for an updated Benelli model, which is what I would do,buy another Benelli. The 2004 models are soon comming and theres lots to choose from.take it easy M1014

  19. gbo4,you may be right,a dry gun wont cycle, thats happened to my buddy yesterday at the range,he;s so smart he forgot to slick up his Benelli Practical the night before and no cycle action happened,he tried to blame the ammo, cheap excuse.the long storage prior to shooting , told on him. What makes you think its the oil?
  20. hey man,its touch and go on oil.trial and error, type of ammo has its effect on viscosity as does amount of use ,storage, etc.Dont forget a variety of gun oils and there prices.Type gun oil on the web and wow, decisions decisions [ 11-02-2003, 04:52 PM: Message edited by: M1014 ]

  23. Welcome,Good brand choice, get a Benelli brochure,go to a gun show,do your home work, look around this site ,its wise to be informed.
  24. Greetings,Documentation is important ,the serial # is located on the ejection port side of the firearm ,low between the trigger guard and the shell lifter on a thin ledge, plus your Benelli box has the same number to match up too ,same with the barrel #.Check out the pics on your brochure and see the #s.Your box and firearm tells all about your firearm such as options ,saftey, testing etc.hope this helps M1014
