  1. I uploaded the video to putfile.com. They don't step on it as hard as Youtube does. http://media.putfile.com/Field-Stripping-the-Benelli-M4-by-Caligva
  2. Excellent job on the video! I would suggest using the bolt handle to push the pin and not the firing pin, as the old man suggested.
  3. You're welcome.
  4. Ok. Got it. Now you can remove it. OT: Does Debbie REALLY do all of Dallas?

  10. Why do automakers recall cars? The government mandates it, based on field reports Voulntary recalls to avoid potential litigation Both are based on a distinctive defect and the percentage of occurence. Simply put, the chances of someone getting injured or killed from a gun that occassionally hangs are very close to zero. In automotive recalls, the defect is pinpointed and defective part or some other fix is specifically laid out. In order for a recall to occur from a firearms maker, there must be some solid evidence of a defective part, design, or assembly. Produce your evidence and show it to the .... who? ATF? The CPSC? They don't care. The ATF is there to collect your fees and to make sure you don't have a gun when you truly most need one. The CPSC is too pre-occupied with Chinese toys and blenders. Can you tell Benelli / Franchi exactly what the defect is that makes your shotgun not work properly, sometimes?

    Helen is on the job!
  12. Clean it thoroughly and lubricate it lightly (no residual dripping). I run my SBEII very close to dry. I lube and then wipe away all excess. I use Hoppes Elite. Supposedly, it permeates the metal at a molecular level. Inertia guns require a break-in. Run some heavier rounds to expedite this process. They also require a firm shoulder. If I load my SBEII with light dove loads and hold it to the side, it won't cycle.
  13. I don't think it's made for wingshooting.

    n00b Here

Looks like some kind of a shipping block to keep something in place. The arrow indicates that it is to be pulled out. Someone probably previously opened the box and removed it. I say toss it.
  17. Call a gunsmith and ask him how much he'll charge to port your SBEII barrel like the Cordoba.
