    SBE Question

Sig and H&K doesn't make a 10 mm as you may or may not know. I work at a gun range and we rent out firearms. As you can imagine these guns take a-lot of abuse. The Glock 10 mm has never had any problems. (maybe a stovepipe from a limp wrist but thats not the guns fault). I need to edit the above about H&k not making a 10 mm. They offer the MP5 in 10 mm. Our range rents full autos and we have an MP5, but its chambered for 9mm. 10 mm in full auto would be sweet! Anyways my 10 mm Glock and the one we rent out at the range have never malfunctioned. I'd recommend one in a heartbeat. Very reliable.

    SBE Question

Sig's are good guns. Expensive but good. Ya gotta love that 610. 10 mm is my favorite pistol round. I've got a Glock 20 and its never given me any trouble. 10 mm is a devestating round. The only semi-auto I've seen that can consecutively shoot the 10 mm round without giving you problems is the Glock. Not that there are a huge amount of manufactures that make guns that shoot the 10 mm.
  4. Captain Charles if your in Maryland call Atlantic Guns. Two locations one in silver spring one in rockville. They are the Benelli dealer for the area. A bit of a drive from upper marlboro but they can get you what you want from Benelli more than likely.
  5. The stock and reciver are one piece on the nova. Theres no way to remove your stock.
  6. The only modern firearms I wouldn't repeatedly dryfire are 22lr pistols. If your a cheap skate (or just a penny pincher) I'd just use spent shells in place of snapcaps.
  7. profeti yes you can swap out barrels. (given there nova barrels of course)
  8. Sweet looking gun. Your barrel and magazine kind of look like ther nickel.?. Must be the flash, but its still a nice set up.
  9. calssportingarmory.com has all types of nova barrels for sale.
  10. I just picked up a "used" nova h20. The main reason I bought it was the low price of 290. Less than one box of shells by previous owner. Basically same gun as nova tactical w/out the option of ghostrings. I just shot it this weekend and it's a nice gun. I have an 870 and an M590A1. All fine pump guns. The nova is worth getting but it will cost you more than an 870 or 590. One thing about the Nova is the stock and receiver are one part, so there's no swapping in parts eg. speedfeed stock, pistol grip etc.

    noisy nova

You won't have one less round if your racking the first one. As far as an intruder hearing the noise and knowing where I am, good. I plan on yelling out that I'm releasing a 110lb cane corso and that I'm waiting with a loaded shotgun. In my state you can't shoot someone for intruding. Your life needs to be in danger, no option of escape. I work at a gun range that teachs home defense class's monthly. I don't agree with the states criteria for using deadly force but I'm not going to act against it.

    noisy nova

The noise of racking the nova is a double edged sword. While it isn't great if your trying to be quiet while hunting it is nice if it's a home prot. gun.(Tactical,H20, etc.) An intruder is bound to hear you loading a shell and high tail it out of there!

  14. Thanks for the info. threeshot. I spoke with them earlier today. They can get me the extension but it will take 3-4 weeks. I ctually live in the state where Benelli/Beretta have there factory. The Peoples Republic of Maryland. I found a shop here that should be able to get me the ext. in a week or two. Take care
  15. Anyone know where to buy the nickel plated extension? I have the stock mag and want to add an extension. I've seen a picture of an H20 with the nickel extension and it looks sweet. Any info is appreciated.
