we understand frustration and live with it daily and like i said hopefully they can answer your questions soon. sorry for aggrivating them! i have a way of doing that with no harm intended just happens! must be the Arkanite in me?
  2. http://www.midwayusa.com/ebrowse.exe/browse?TabID=1&Categoryid=19966&categorystring=9315***11462***9502***19963*** been a while since i reloaded and never reloaded steel, but dead ducks could care less who made it. http://www.precisionreloading.com/2004catalog.htm check out their catalog seems reloading steel is not as simple as i thought it might be?
  3. Ok what did ya replace it with? did ya use choke tube lube? should not loosen after 8 rounds and shooting a shotgun with a loose tube could be a barrel bulging experience!! what type of wrench were ya using to tighten new choke? http://www.trulockchokes.com/chokeinfo.asp go down to choke cleaning and tightening, hope this helps but i do not know what type of wrench comes with the M4, if it is like the SBEII wrench it is LAME! and PITA to get tube tight! would also never leave tube in barrel tight while you were between shooting trips! back it out a little and just remember to tighten before us!! stuck choke tubes are expensive to remove!
  4. Congrats on doing something rite!!

A gun is only as good as their customer service:rolleyes: never had issues with either and appologize if i offended ya goose, i have had to wait on hold a couple times but if they new it was GOD calling i am sure they would have not put me on hold:)! Seems you are leaning towards the frustrated side, relax cause that will help no one. Benelli has been getting ready for 2008 Shot Show and i am sure they are short staffed their for a week or 2, not making any excuses for them just letting ya know that they are their for ya! sorry no one hear can help ya, since you did not ask for our help i will shut the F up!!
  6. aftermarket is a tad cheaper! http://www.therightgun.com/shotgunPages/benelliShotguns.html

they have answered every email and phone call that i have sent them without issue? What is your pressing question that they do not wanta address? Finding someone during hunting season will allways be an issue but that is i would think be a no brainer! not sure why they have been avoiding you but should not take Dr. Phil to figure it out!
  9. Benelli Part # 80155P paid 65.00 bucks just before they yanked them and not planning on selling, but should be able to find aftermarket. http://www.e-gunparts.com/DisplayAd.asp?chrProductSKU=957110A&chrSuperSKU=957110&MC= call these guys and see if they have the correct one?
  10. Hey did ya try to special order thru Brownells or Numrich? Where did Benelli say to buy one? just because they show one in their catalog does not mean the can be had unless Benelli tells you they can't be had! Myself would opt for the barrel and the rifled tube but would not do one without the other, never tried your question but feel ballistics would probably be a wash? try it ya might like it, but feel it will not improve patterns too much!!
  11. http://www.benelliusa.com/customer-service/warranty.tpl "WHAT WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER" Good read for the people who have no clue on firearms care. I would not waste Benelli's time with something i screwed up and when ya learn how to clean a shotgun your cycle issues will go away, and defective shells will not cycle in Benelli's, they have been noted to not shoot crappy ammo!!

    M4 Choke tube

should have came with a cylinder choke, look on outside of it and see how many ***** it has should be 5 according to website but ya look in the M4 manual and it does not even show a cylinder choke? http://www.benelliusa.com/firearms/partsAccessoriesChokes.tpl top left side of page standard chokes shows cylinder to have 5 ***** onn the side of choke, do not see anywhere where it says how many slits on top face of choke? i think cylinder will shoot any round ya wanta shoot in it but you can use any of the standerd or extended standard tubes per Benelli choke chart at bottom of the link!!
  13. biggy is ya gotta makre sure it is tight before ya do take it out to shoot next outing!! loose tube will bulge a barrel if not careful. i hate tubed shotguns allways have!! i also think improper care of any firearm can be dangerous if you are not 10% smarter than the weapon!!
  14. http://www.trulockchokes.com/chokeinfo.asp this is a good way to take care of your chokes and barrel, look down towards bottom of article it explains things well. i use browning midas grease on my chokes and allways clean both sets of threads and tighten choke with wrench, or gloves if it's an external choke i just tighten with my hands. i also when finished hunting allways loosen my choke to where you can remove without wrench.
  15. http://www.militec.com/firearms/manual56.html top paragraph would probably sum up your question but i keep all solvents away from my synthetic stock but this says to keep it away from other areas of gun!
  16. just cut crimp off end of shell and pour out everything in front of wad and put it back in chamber. Myself would want a bunch of #1 Buchshot up front along with the extra mag extension for the SBEII so ya got some extra rounds for the crack heads!! Living in a large city will also change your view on home invasion and burglars it comes with its benefits which are sadly negative in our case here in ABQ.
  17. should have talked them into the cammo Synthetic stock for a replacement!!
  18. I think Hillary needs a date!!
  19. http://www.e-gunparts.com/DisplayAd.asp?chrProductSKU=930870&chrSuperSKU=&MC= Benelli does not sell to PUBLIC! never has and never will! They will tell you where to purchase but why waist your money calling them when they are going to just tell you to call Brownells, or Numrich?
  20. i would tear it down to the bone and use some quality solvent, lube and grease sparingly and make sure the spare parts box is empty when ya get thru!! also use some brushes and picks to get into tight areas and keep all solvents away from plastics and outer barrel ! So whatever shell it has been malfunctioning on i would throw them and find something it likes! If it acts up too much call CS!!
  21. are you meeting the min load criteria or are ya shooting the 7/8 oz rounds?
  22. Owners manual is an amazing thang! http://www.midwayusa.com/guntecdictionary.exe/browse?currentletter=C&SubLetter=&page=4 cast on and cast off read both and read the second one carefully!!
  23. maybe call Benelli and talk to a supervisor and let them know what is going on and see what they do. We feel your pain but it does not hurt me like it does you, good luck!!
  24. swap cast shims per manual!
  25. nope only 53 years young and nope i know no BLUE but i do know RED!! Sure thought we were going to get him a couple months back!! Money did not work for him? LOOSER!!
