  1. Sigh..... it is a sad day when you can not even say H-E Double L in a post.
  2. Yep, Knoxx would turn out a pretty good product. But ****, I would like to see anybody put a good stock on the market. What amazes me is that nobody has jumped on it yet. They could sell them for $300 or maybe a bit more and by my SWAG calculations they could move hundreds if not a few thousand of them. Anybody have an idea how many M4s are out there? Semper Fi
  3. Wait a second..... you guys would not happen to be double secret ATF agents would you?
  4. very funny- BUT READ THE LAW- it clearly states you cannot assemble a weapon out of PARTS..... no refference to full up weapons. Any half arsed lawyer could stomp on any M4 related charges UNLESS you are currently living in a lunitic lefty state facing state charges, then you might be up the crick. I am assuming from 1014s vague answer that he does indeed live in one of these communist, oops sorry, one these "socialist" states. All commrads hail supreme secetary general Hilliary!
  5. OK, I'll bite- what pictures?
  6. Nope, just demonstrating the that there is no need to worry about the Feds coming after you- maybe your local yocal 2nd amendment violaters- but not the ATF. I have discussed this exact topic at length with state law enforcement, federal law enforcement, and a federal judge. All friends or family so they gave me the straight skinny on it. And I ran it by my brother-in-law who is a litigator. He does not know much about gun laws but he and the others were of the general consensus that the ATF would be laughed out of the court room if it came to that. So where do you live 1014?
  7. I found out today that Benelli is not sending ANY collapseable stocks to the US. No one can get them, not FBI,CIA (ok maybe the CIA can sneak some in), state/local law enforcers...... and to top the list- guess which three letter club is trying to figure out how to get them? Yep, the ATF operators are scratchin their heads in puzzelment. I guess it is the whole karma thing in action. But before all you profiteers start drooling about paying off your mortage with the proceeds from selling you stocks, it has come to my attention that fairly soon there will be a US made collapser available that is BETTER than the factory unit! And no I aint tellin from who (I want to be first in line) On that note, while we wait, anybody got a factory Bennelli stock they would part with for $250 ? Semper Fi
  8. I picked up my new M4 yesterday! And even better news is that I am now at ZERO illegal parts- yep, zero! Eat your hearts out you guys lusting after US made triggers/disconnectors/stocks etc. I am eagerly awaiting my SOCOMGUY tube so I can ASSEMBLE it on to the bear hammer. Wait a second... that means that I will actually have a NEGATIVE assembled imported parts count. Do you think the ATF will send me a Christmas card for going above and beyond the line of duty? You got it, I did not ASSEMBLE anything- my friendly neighborhood shotgun dealer handed it across the counter in one beautiful, completly ASSEMBLED, piece! § 178.39 Assembly of semiautomatic rifles or shotguns. (a) No person shall assemble a semiautomatic rifle or any shotgun using more than 10 of the imported parts listed in paragraph © of this section if the assembled firearm is prohibited from importation under section 925(d)(3) as not being particularly suitable for or readily adaptable to sporting purposes.
  9. "If I could've just gotten them to call me "sergeant" instead of "YES-M'AM." " SgtCathy Cape Cod Unfortunatley we are known for being smart a**ses. But to make up for that we drink alot!
  10. Amen brother! I have a lot of friends that are either over there, been there or going there- tell your son to stay low and bring his a** back in one piece. And tell him to watch out for those shifty EOD guys.... my MOS when I was in and my current civilian job. Beagle, glob, and sprained ankle!
  11. I recommend moving! Come on down to the sunny south- plenty of room and decent gun laws- I talked to the head of the ABI (Alabama Bureau of Investigation) and he said as long as the barrel was 18" and over all length was 26" anyting goes. I am thinking about mounting a slim barred chain saw as a bayonet! Semper Fi
  12. Thanks guys for the advice- I wil let you know my exact set up when I am finished researching all options. But as of now I am leaning towards 3" Brenneke black magic slugs outa my M4 set up with tritium sights, tactical sling, and surefire M600a weapons light. I will probably play around with one of the new pulsating green laser sights also. Semper Fi
  13. You have to admit us Marines have excellent taste in weapons- I am headed out this morning to pick up my brand new M4, it will look very similar to Barney's within a couple of weeks. There is something about getting a new gun, it is almost a spiritual experince. Can anyone direct me to the "fat bolt handle" store? Semper Fi
  14. The good news is that neither Billary nor O' Sama can win the general election. The better news is that the mentally challenged lunatic lefties are actually dumb enough to nominate one of them. The only question is which GOP canidate will we be stuck with.
  15. Since you are a fan of the the break action shotgun I would recommend the the 4 banger shown in the video below- http://video.aol.com/video-detail/reggies-four-barrell-shotgun/1016600398 It is the preffered weapon when dealing with killer midget monks after all, and you know how bad those are this time of year!
  16. Good outcome... the only better outcome would be if the scum had been caught and locked away forever. Barring that, if your girlfriend could handle it, the next best thing would have been for her to engage them with deadly results, calloused I know but it is likely after they clean there drawers out and start to forget about it and need some drug money the shitte heads will try the same thing. The next victim might not have the same protection. One point on training wifes/girlfriends/female friends- teach them all the fun stuff- loading, shooting, some simple tactics, but don't forget the most important thing- they may have to at some critical point take another human beings life. Some of you might know this first hand but it is a **** of a thing to have to kill another person. Make sure they understand and are ready for it. I have tought several and with the exception of one I don't think they would freeze at the moment of truth. The one I am worried about is a lefty with the "everyone is good inside, they are just a victim of the system" mentality. Sigh...... at least I got her to shoot a couple of guns. Who knows, maybe if it came down to it she would turn into screaming banshee and but stroke the punk! Semper Fi
  17. "Most stuff is in a shroud of secrecy." So I should hold off on buying my new M4 today because they are going to introduce the new tactical model M1,000,001 w/ built in night vision, death ray laser aiming, GPS, automatic electric/hydraulic collasping stock, survival/ first aid kit in fore grip, two-way radio, switch-blade bayonet, combination bi-pod/ hooligan tool/ grappling hook, 100 round magazine (with a hand written letter signed by the AG blessing this gun as legal and singing the praises of our right to own and use guns), 1,000,000 candle power surefire tactical weapon light, and last but not least...... spring loaded, pop-up salt and pepper shakers! Semper Fi
  18. The gauge is reading around "not much". There is/was another M4 for sale with a CS & Mag extension with an asking price of $1,900.... somewhat reasonable. $2,500.... a bit steep I would think. Good luck-
  19. Going to Alaska this summer to do some field work and my secondary job (which will instantly become number one if the shitte hits the fan!) will be bear guard for the team. That is the only reason I would use 3" mag loads. I am thinking about the porting to reduce muzzle rise for quick follow up shots. Pretty much ruled out 2 3/4 shells for Da Bears..... I can't envision having time for more than 3-4 shots before the bear is either down or he is close enough to put the muzzle in his ear....... so me thinks that having the extra horsepower in the first couple of shots, even with the recoil and muzzle rise penalty, is more important than an extra shell in the mag tube. For two legged wolves 2 3/4 shells are more than adequate.
  20. Has anyone (gasp!) ported their high dollar M4 barrel? What were the results? Not so much concerened about recoil (but it would be nice to reduce it) but want to limit muzzle rise as much as possible for fast follow-up shots. And yes, I am planning on shooting hot/3" loads so the slight reduction in pressure should not be a problem. Semper Fi
  21. What are your thoughts on ghost ring vs. tritium ghost ring vs. electronic aimpoint type sights? Are the electronic sights durable enough for hard field use? Battery life? Do you have to turn them on with a unit mounted switch? Not the most desirable feature in a sudden "react or die" situation in my opinion if so. Semper Fi
  22. Now that is what I call profit margin!
  23. From SgtCathy "If your that close to an Alaskan Brown bear or a Griz to use a shotgun, you're aleady dead." Good point- but I am going to be with a team of scientists and engineers. If (and I hope we are not) charged by a brown bear there will be ample wailing/panic/commotion to distract the bruin from me. My biggest problem will be making sure that I have a clear line of fire. Hmmmm...... I wonder if I can train a bunch of highly educated city dweller types to instantly drop to the prone position when someone yells BEAR!
  24. Does anyone have any thoughts/ advice on bear stomping rounds? I am headed to the Alaskan wilderness this summer for three months to do some field work. I am looking to feed my new M4 with them. Thanks in advance- Semper Fi
