The whole panic buying of ammo and guns was the most pathetic thing I have seen for quite a while. How the **** are all these people going bankrupt and are unable to pay bills but yet can come up with $1,000 to buy a assault rifle on a whim? All of this BS goes back to society as a whole going to **** in a handbasket. Rather than cracking down on gangster wannabe's and nutbags we just make more laws that affect people as a whole. The people of the USA need to wake up and realize we elect all of these people and they should give two cents about us doing so.
-
What people don't understand is that none of these laws past and present have had any affect on crime especially gun related crime. To think that banning certian magazines, ammunition and types of guns now in 2008 will have any affect is assinine. The stupid crazy ass that wants to kill people will find a way no matter what. He most likely won't be buying his gun or ammo legally anyway so whats the benifit of a new set or regulations? During the last bills being passed for gun control people in Washington openly admitted they just wanted to disarm people and it wasn't about crime.

A while back I added a Benelli 1 shot extension to my SuperNova and am curious which magazine spring will best suit my combination. It is the same tube used on the M2 but gives me a mag capacity of six vs the M2's five. I have been using a M2 spring but after a few thousand rounds I feel it needs an upgrade. Out of the other 12ga models which spring will be best for a 6 round magazine? I have a super long Benelli spring but it is way to much for what I need. **** Also if you know the lengths of the different springs please let me know *****

Before you get to diehard take a peek inside a new one at a gun shop. Mine never had any plastic over the exposed skeleton part just the natural finish. There are a few places inside the reciever around the bolt that is the same way.
-
I took a peek at mine and it is the same those patches are where the guns skeleton is exposed. I assume it is made that way so the barrel rests on a surface that doesn't wear like the polymer skin/overcoat. Basically the same way a polymer framed hand gun has metal inserts at major wear and high stress areas.

Will any of the gel pads fit the SN tactical pistol grip stock, Benelli includes the SN is the fitment chart but does not specify.
-
If you magazine spring is still good I would look to see if the carrier is cycling right. If it pops up too soon it will not let the next shell load on top of it.

In my SuperNova Tactical I have shot everything from the Winchester 3" slugs to the 2 3/4" Rackmasters and Power points. People usually say that slugs are really dirty and after shooting over 45 3" the barrel wasn't that bad. I shot one box (5) of Power Points Saturday and it looks like someone dumped dirt in the barrel.

On the M2 the easiest way is to unscrew the magazine extension tube then pull the plug out.
-
I'll check mine out tonight and get back to you.
-
If the M3 uses the same barrel nut as the M2/SBE I have a BEnelli extension that might work for you. It is a +2 but when using 2 3/4" shells it usually adds +3. ****EDIT **** Well I was just looking at pictures of the M3, do you know if the little extension they come with unscrews from the barrel nut? If they do all you would need to find is a tube alone.

The Benelli catalog has it listed as 5+1 if I remember right.
-
Stick with a pistolgrip with a buttstock, the stock less PG's are a joke when it comes to real control they are more so a "look what I got" grip. As for a HD round even my 2 3/4" winchester 00 Buck will put a nice pattern through a car door at 20 feet.

The Benelli tubes are just short of flush with the end of the 18.5" barrel. They also use a aluminum tube with a steel endcap the and spring that comes with them is much longer than needed. It's kind of odd that the Nordic won't allow 7 in the magazine so there must be a difference somewhere.
-
I figured you knew what I was saying.
-
I love how easy the people that read my post understand it yet some of you are still lost. The Benelli tube is stated as a +2 but when using 2 3/4" shells you can get 7 in the magazine plus the one in the chamber which equals a total of eight. Just like the M2 tube when used on the SN is listed as a +1 but brings up magazine capacity to 6 when using the same 2 3/4" shells. And arizona98tj the normal capacity of a SN tactical is 4+1.

Besides grains and beans being in short supply thank to overzealous farmers what we also need to think about is that most people push E85 because they are getting rich off of it. Sure they say it helps the environment but in reality investors and stock holders are at home bathing in cash. And when it comes to being used in high performance vehicles I say this, if you can afford the fast quit being a E85 cheap ass and run race fuel.

The M2 extension tube I used gives me 6+1 and with this tube it is 7+1. Like the math wiz above everyone always forgets to take into account that removing the factory spring retainer adds room as does the tube adapter/barrel nut. These were Benelli original kits for the Tacticals and fit 100% perfect. It is called a two shot extension by some but adds three when using 2 3/4" shells. Here is a generic picture of what I am talking about, I would dig up my own but they are on my other computer. And yes I know that is a Nova but same deal.
-
Well considering it's a Benelli extension and I have had it on a SuperNova Tactical you are wrong. If you knew what you were talking about you would take into consideration the extra room the extended barrel nut adds and where the spring goes. With just the M2 tube added to a SN Tactical I have 6+1 with the other tube it's 7+1 so you do the math ace.
-
I have a Benelli extension tube that adds three rounds and matches the barrel in length I am trying to get rid of. It includes the spring, tube, barrel clamp all you need is the barrel retaining nut.
-
When it comes to aftermarket stuff falling off it isn't the gun. As for sights and related items it's usually because of shock loosinging the fastners. Given it might be hard to find Benelli parts but it only takes a few seconds to check the nuts/screws once and a while.

Two of my very good friends tuned there Turbo and Supercharged Mustangs for E85 and I must say it isn't worth it at all. Sure you can run higher timing with it but it has more drawbacks than potential. The whole fuel system needs to be upgraded from injectors to fuel pump to do this also. It requires 30% more fuel to be injected to equal gasoline and absorbs water terribly. -- So all in all I have a sevre dislike for the stuff and have seen first hand how it has ruined farmland and parts of the economy. All the farmers here wanted to make buck off the Ethanol boom and grew all corn. And guess what now grain and beans are in short supply. I personaly know farmers that made there quick buck but now are pissed because they spent that money on higher priced feed and grains.

I am surprised what I have been able to do with my SN Tactical. I bought it for simple home defense but have experimented with buckshot and slugs and am pleased with the results.
-
I have a SuperNova Tactical with the pistol grip and ghost ring sights and the only addition is a Benelli 2-shot extension. If you wanted something with interchangeable chokes I would have went with something other than the SN. As for which buckshot to use for home defense I keep mine loaded with 2 3/4" 00 and as conviced 7 rounds of this will be enough.
