I use this case to carry my SNT and is a damn fine case and is very durable and rugged for being soft. If you search for Benelli and te part number on the net you can find a few places that have them in stock.

I am one of those folks who cannot buy a gun without holding it so I was just cruising the GB auctions out of bordom. But if you just search M2 Tactical I think all of the listings are made by the same guy with the same description. Cody

I was just checking out some gunbroker auctions and seen a few listings for M2T's and noticed they claimed the M2T is no more. Is this true?

I use Breakfree CLP when cleaning and Breakfree LP when generally oiling my shotguns and semi auto carbines/handguns.

When I thought I was never going to find a bolt that worked I actually thought about converting over to the dummy recoil tube. The only real issue there would be lossening the factory loctite since you obviously cannot heat the SN reciever.

The bolt itself is manufactured for Benelli Italy by SBE Varvit and is a M8 1.00 pitch and is 55mm long. It wasn't that I couldn't make a M8/1.00/50mm work just that I didn't want to and Benelli had no idea it existed. I am borderline OCD/Perfectionist and if I could have got a SBE bolt I would have no matter where or at what cost. As for the stock tube it is available but it cannot be sold to anyone in the US or replaced under warranty due to it being part of a collapsable stock. If it is faulty by defect if you send in your gun Benelli can install another but thats the only way to get one new.

So what exactly are you saying? Any way you slice it if you have a SuperNova with the notched stock rod you wont be able to get a new one if something happens to yours. The bolt also isn't cataloged by Benelli USA or Italy much less mentioned as existing.

The Benelli night sights are made by Mepo and are the same M4 and SNT, I tried them and they came off days after going on. The rear sight fit with no issues although the dots/inserts are slightly smaller. The front sight is M4 sized and doesn't fit as good as the original SN post. After a few slugs mine came loose and moved.

I myself use only Benelli extension tubes. The +1 tube will allow you to hold 6+1 2 3/4" shells and is even with the base of the front sight. The +2 will hold 7+1 and is even with the end of the barrel. The Benelli kits also include a spring which is the same one used in the LEO/MIL M1. I recently returned my SNT to stock configuration and took my extension off. I like to keep my guns clean and removing the spring and extension got a bit old.

Only in 2009 must a firearm owner worry about themselves getting in trouble after shooting someone who broke into there home. What a complete load of ****.

Good old Youtube, sorry but I use that place as refference for guns just like cars. If you want to see common internet myths or people messing around it's the place to go. When it comes to home defense how many times will this stance be initiated to begin with? In a real situation you keep the intruder at a compliant distance or stay where they will walk into your line of fire.

Thats amazing because a PG makes all of that easier and would rather have it if someone chose to grab the barrel.

To date I have 3,000 rounds through my first SuperNova Tactical and about 500 through my new SNT. Both are pistol grip and both have the ghost ring sights. When I bought my first one I was new to shotguns and had no brand preference. The fully finished look and operation sold me on Benelli versus the Mossberg or Remington. As for CS issues I have not had one complaint about Benelli. Hold time is usually minimal and they have given me no headaches. The only issue I ever had was trying to find a replacement stock bolt which the Benelli USA diagram did not show. This was simply resloved by picking up a non-italian (SBE) made bolt at a local fastener store.

Does anyone have a standard M2 extension tube they want to part with? I would prefer one that is like new if possible please let me know. Cody

Just a note Boom: I have a brand new Benelli recoil tube cap/stud with the flat sides I no longer need. I would part with it for very little if you wanted to use this when putting your gun back together. I'll even throw in a new lock nut also. Cody

Butter Face is a whole different ballgame. You can't tell me you never seen someone from a distance and the closer you got the more you thought what was I thinking. Thus good from far, far from good. Back to the Soviet shotguns keeping american streets safe.

I rank the Saiga 12 right up there with bullpup converted 10/22's. Sure they look neat but after using one you soon find out they are crap. Like some girls the Saiga is good from far, but far from good.

Quick question. Anyone know if the case pictured is the new or old design? There is that one and another that is all fabric and they carry the same Benelli part number.

I don't know if this matters to some but it does to me. One thing that also swayed me towards Benelli years ago was the fit and finish. When you put a FN, 870 or similar tacticals next to a Benelli they look a bit raw like someon forgot the last coat of finish. Sure they are tactical shotguns put the pasty flat black paintjobs and sometimes poor paintjobs in general are a real deal breaker to me. Both of the FN's and 870's I looked at had the same wear on things like the action bars as my SNT did with 2,000 rounds through it.

If you are speaking in terms of it vs standard rifle sights or beads I would say it is a little easier to aquire targets with it. In a tactical situation I would prefer a full size rail mounted optic.

The SUperNoava when originally equipped with the Pistol Grip uses a diiferent stock rod than the Standard or ComforTech models. The CT and standard model use a dummy recoil spring tube with a stud on the end just like the M2 and M3. The PG uses a rod with notches for the collapseable stock that was in the works but never made it stateside. This rod also uses a bolt that threads into an insert in the rod also. So a note to anyone with a PG SuperNova don't mess up the rod or insert because you cannot get a new one.

Brownells can get pretty much any Benelli part just call them.

Sorry if you thought I was giving you a hard time. It's just that over the course of putting 2000 rounds through my first SuperNova I only had to remove the trigger group twice. First after about 100 rounds to check it out and apply lube. The second was after about 1500 rounds and it looked like when I put it together 1400 rounds ago.
