  1. TacStar works amazing on my SuperNova. I don't see the need to spend 80$ on something that will work the same as something that is 40$.
  2. I have a TacStar. It functions flawlessly. No reason to spend more and get a Nordic.
  3. I have a Tactical SuperNova. I have the plugs. I will do some research and see what i can find out for you. Barrel has nothing to do with it. It's the receiver, and as far as i'm concerned all SuperNova's have the same receivers.
  4. You don't see, on the top of the receiver, 4 little plastic plugs that are in the indented area?
  5. The plugs are a good sign. They are there so you if you don't mount an optic nothing will get through the holes. That isn't a sign of a cheap/bad gun at all. I think we need to settle down a little bit.
  6. Can't say enough good things about my Comfor-Tech stock.
  7. If we were wanabees, we would have gotten a cheaper semi auto Benelli.

    I'm a leftie but i shoot righty. -I'm serious
  9. I don't use it for a home defense gun, so now i'm on the look for a 24 and MAYBE 26" Field barrel. Sure it looks awesome to have a tactical barrel, but it isn't practical for me. Unless someone can convince me that this barrel will work good when i head to my buddies cabin to shoot clays for fun. THEN, i may keep it.

    SuperNova

Are you referring to the holes on top of the receiver or the pins by the trigger?
  11. I would recommend mine but it's kinda bulky. Lemme look around for ya.
  12. you are posting a question about a Benelli on a Benelli Forum. Chances are everyone is gunna say M4.
  13. SideSaddle? No. Strap-on stock shell holder? Yes. Just my 2 cents.
  14. I would like to propose a trade. I have a comfortech and am dying for a pistol grip. Reduces kick like a charm but my wrist doesn't like the standard stock position. PM me if interested.

    Barrel co$t$

SuperNova Slug barrel will range from 450-500$ I can get 1.5" groups with my 18.5" barrel at 50Y with my SuperNova Tactical. It all depends on how far away the deer are when you see them. You may not even need a slug barrel.
  16. TacStar +2. Works on Nova and SuperNova. No Clamp required for stability.
  17. This is as well, my Deer gun. That's why i have a red dot. This gun is right on the hoohoo at 50Y with a slug. Where i hunt, Brush is thick. Have fun finding a clear shot past 75Y. I am confident this would drop a deer at 75. And no it isn't Blackhawk, It's Eagle Industries. Extremely comfy and the shell holder has a death grip on the shells. Here is the link Noob http://www.eagleindustries.com/product.php?productid=54&cat=0&page=1
  18. And By the way, when i took off my extension and then went to the range and swapped out for standard, no change in zero. Happy me.
  19. 50-60? i can do 75 with my 18.5".
  20. I have a SuperNova and the performance is unreal. If the Nova performs the same, get it.
  21. You looking for smoothbore shotgun or rifled barrel shotgun? Rifled is sabot slugs only and smoothbore is your standard smooth barrel that can use shot and rifled slugs.
  22. -I mounted it myself. Had to take out the trigger group and the bolt. I have never taken a shotgun apart and i did this without instructions. -And my red dot is a Bushnell Trophy red dot that will turn off when tilted horizontally too far, Some auto on/off feature that is quite nice. http://bushnell.com/general/riflescopes_trophy_73-0132a.cfm -Advice on putting the rail on? The two pins in the trigger group need to be punched out, they are punched out on the side that is smaller of the two. (i used a screwdriver with a cloth in front so i didn't scratch the pins) once the pins are out, you can pull on the trigger guard and the grouping will come out. don't worry, it is one solid piece. The bolt is kinda tricky to get out. Ya gotta monkey with it a little to pull it out, its pretty easy but takes a sec to figure out. -Then you will see the plastic plugs that are preventing you from putting the rail on, those can be punched out with a small screwdriver as well. Once you punch the plugs out, it's pretty much as simple as screwing the rail in from the top. -Mine has rifle sights, both the front and rear are on the barrel. -Pictures coming when my last part comes in. -Please feel free to come to me with advice on how to install, what parts to buy, and where i got them, i am more than willing to help!
  23. Once my other part gets here i will post it up for ya. -when i was at the range i put the target out at 20 yards or so and i decided to try and shoot pretty darn fast with slugs and i surprised myself with how accurate i was! Kept em all in a grapefruit! There is no doubt people on this forum can outshoot me any day of the week, but for me i did well.
