  1. I have a Comfortech stock on my SN TAC and am extremely happy with it, but i would still love to try the Steady Grip. Anyone have one that they don't want anymore that would be willing to donate it for a cause?
  2. Fact: Tucker will have more than one gun within arms reach. Myth: He will only use one of them to shoot you down.
  3. Thanks Lakotah! That's what i was hoping to hear.
  4. Fact: The burglar is not going to be some burly man, chances are he is a scrawny crackhead.
  5. Shotgun in the closet, Ka-bar under the coffee table, Baseball bat under the couch.
  6. We are discussing a smooth bore shotgun barrel.
  7. WE have a right called the 2nd amendment and Barack clearly doesn't understand it. He can try to take our guns away but we won't go down without one **** of a fight. - As a matter of fact, How does the gun ban even work when he have the right to own guns no matter what? - What a load of BULL****.
  8. But the question is, Is it truly necessary to go to the range to check again? A 100 yard shot where i hunt is something you would never see. If you guys sound pretty confident that it may not be off by much i'm not sure i need to go to the range again. I can deal with an inch off at 50 yards, that buck will still drop like a bag of bricks. -If it doesn't i have 4 more in the tube and 5 on the stock.
  9. Tucker, close as in hardly noticeable? Or close as in a few inches? Or feet?
  10. I failed to mention the red dot mounted on a rail on the receiver. So i'm safe? No need to sight in again? Still have same POI?
  11. Federal Tru-Ball. Cookie sized groups through my SN TAC at 55ish yards .

    20ga pump

My Buddy has a 20 Gauge BPS he uses on clay pigeons (is that the same as skeet?) Excuse me for my lack of info on shotgun sports. But he has had 0% things wrong and has had 100% great performance.

    Whoops....

I took my barrel off to clean it after i sighted it in. Did i lose my zero....? Is my POI no longer going to be where it was?
  14. Those were indeed full power. No low recoil for me.
  15. I will have to try that flight control bignotti. They make it in 00? And Novaking, i was running out of time rather quickly and just lucky that those worked out so i didn't have to waste more money/ time to find one that works.
  16. Sighted in my SN TAC with slugs that actually decided to hold a GREAT grouping! Federal Tru-Ball slugs and at 50 yards was getting 3" groups! It's about time a find a slug that works well!
  17. Rifled slugs were designed specifically for smoothbore barrels. Sabot slugs are designed for rifled barrels. Sabots may be used in both smooth and rifled barrel but perform much better in a rifled barrel. A rifled slug's max effective ranged is around 50-60 yards. You can drop a deer from a range of up to 150 yards with a sabot slug out of a rifled barrel. -What this means is, if you are hunting in thick brush you will be fine with a rifled slug out of a smoothbore. My reason for saying this is , you might not ever see a shot beyond 50 in the thick of the woods. -If you are hunting on more so a flatland/prairie, go with a sabot slug through a rifled barrel. Much more accurate at up to 150 yards. -Just remember. Sabot = longer distance, better accuracy. Rifled = accuracy at 60 yards and under. Anything over 60 yards and it will topple and be innacurate.
  18. Remington 3" Coppersolid Sabots.
  19. Hey arizona98tj, how accurate were the tru-ball slugs? i have a SuperNova and am looking for a solid, accurate slug.
  20. Wow forgot to include 14" in my above post. I personally would go no lower than 14". (I always manage to make myself look stupid)
  21. I'm talking about slugs that were meant to be used in a smooth bore. Not all slugs in general.
