  1. I would run which ever configuration you plan to keep the shotgun in - wouldn't change the set up for a class; each has some advantages I think - one hand manipulation, different grip angles/strength requirement - for me, the pistol grip provides more grip and control - YMMV

    My M4

Very nicely done; when I put the GG&G release on, I'd checked things pretty well, I thought, but the range proved me wrong. The spring had shifted on me and the release arm would not allow the shells to feed to the carrier properly - guess the actual firing caused the spring to shift out of location - pilot error
  3. Mine arrived yesterday - ecactly as advertised -although they didn't spend any extra money on packing. My thanks again to jamiej1966 and unobtainium for the heads up
  4. Anyone can buy them - haven't followed all the threads on availability - worst that can happen is you can't place the order.
  5. Kip - glad to pre-pay if your beer funds begin to run low...........also put me in line for one of your M4 Bolt Handles and a freshly anodized picatinny rail - ship at ur convenience.
  6. Also just received shipping confirmation w/UPS tracking number
  7. Cody - just received shipping confirmation from Botach on the stock - don't know that it would hurt anything to try to place an order through them
  8. Be interesting to know how many they've got in stock - going to be some happy campers at this price point!
  9. While automated, my cc got charged for the correct amount; if I get the old "Oh we made a mistake" call, I'll update. According to their site, they don't charge the cc until they ship.....hmmmm
  10. jamiej1966 & Unobtanium - appreciate the heads up - also placed an order and will see how it goes; I've had more good than bad luck with them over the years and this would be a nice catch. Stay tuned!
  11. Kip - Please put me in line as well - thx

    Shotgun Scabbard

"This scabbard is not intended as a long term storage device and does not include any locking or other security mechanisms. " Wonder why they didn't include a 'locking' device to hold the shotgun in the scabbard - doesn't seem like a big deal/expense to have a bit of peace of mind -

    Happy Memorial Day

TacticalKoala - my I also lift my glass in your honor, and the honor of our comrades. We are the lucky ones who came back and went on with our lives, friends and families.
  15. He's got it set on the low power setting to keep the door from catching on fire:)
  16. Kip - glad to purchase one of the blems if you make them available Thx
  17. Perhaps an unfavorable stacking of tolerances? Don't think I'd try the emery route as it will remove the surface protection from the barrel. Without any obvious issues with the barrel or receiver, you might want to see what Benelli's CS has to say

  19. Sidearmor; sent them 2 emails w/o any reply - guess they aren't interested in my business. I believe the recoil drives the mount forward which would load the rear edge of the rail and the front edge of the mount.......
  20. "Before you lock the lever, pull the mount against to the rear of the lug. This way the lug will be seated firmly against the rail when you lock the lever. It gives the mount nowhere to go." Shouldn't that be against the forward edge of the rail? Recoil is going to drive the mount forward . . .
  21. The bolts I've got are either the original mounts or the ones that came with the Larue - shorter than supplied with the kit. Unfortunately, the only setup is with the high rise mount which lifts the cheek off the stock more than I like.
  22. Stand by - the mount can only use the high rise spacer and the supplied bolts are too long for the housing
  23. http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17908&highlight=tactical1 The Larue is a great mount, but does not work well with the non-standard picatinny rail on the M4. Kip is said to be getting close to his rail. I've ordered this one to use on my M4 w/ my T1 http://www.knightarmco.com/shop2/index.php?productID=311
