Hey Hookster,
Sorry again for the slow response to your IM. Here's a pic of my former BMT MOD-C setup. I sold it for a few reasons, including I disliked having to bust out an allen wrench to field strip, I had trouble actuating the light well under stress, and the QD sling receiver placement was not all that great for a right hander. I'd really like to see pics of your new setup:
Thanks for the pics Calviroman!!!
I agree about the sling issue.... My goal is to have a lightweight setup that will mount the light on the right side of the weapon and still have acceptable ergonomics for actuating the switch. I know that with a left side mounting it would be easier to have good ergonomic switch control but it's hard to get around the conflict between a light and sling both being on the left side. The field stripping will, of course, be a bit more involved, but for now that's an inconveniance I am willing to take on to achieve my main goal...We'll see how it goes!
BTW...I heard back from Scott at CDM, they're shipping my swivel in the AM and the MOD-C should be available on Sunday....

Hey All,
I received the BMT clamp yesterday, I will get around to playing with it seriously this weekend and report back with a review and pics. My initial impression is very good in terms of weight and overall quality. I did a quick mount up with a Streamlight TLR-1 and the 6 slot rail and I think it will work well. I still plan to get the CDM Mod-C as soon as they are available (ETA 1st week of Oct.) to try out options using the Surefire G2x
Only bummer was that I'd ordered it with the swivel and they forgot to include it in the shipment but I've e-mailed them so hopefully they will rectify in a timely manner

Hey All,
For anyone interested the CDM BMT clamp is in stock, I just ordered one with the 3 slot rail, a 6 slot rail and the swivel kit to play around with mounting options using a Surefire X300. I've also ordered a Surefire G2x Tactical, click on tailcap and red filters to try out Calviroman's light setup. The CDM Mod-C mount for the G2x is supposed to be available the first week of October and I'll be ordering one as soon as they're in. I will post pics and reviews of the light mounting solutions I have in mind once everything is in hand.

I was not aware that these were produced until watching this video. Has anyone ever heard of this or have any idea where I can find one?
I've seen the folder on the M3 but not that one which looks like the Supernova C-stock....Strange...

Thank you for this thread, I have been trying to figure out the 922R Reg and get confused.
Hey M4Fan... Welcome to the forum... Freedom Fighter Tactical's website has a fairly good explanation of the ins and outs of 922r....It can be a little confusing at first...
Here ya go...

Very cool looking Glock there Rocket!!!.... are you getting the standard Mdl 21 or the 21sf?
-
This is PDX 12 from 20 yards with my Super Nova Tactical. I think this round would be devastating at that range but those pellets concern me at longer distances. I'll see what I can do at a neighbors range with my M4.
Yeah...Looking at that initially, it doesn't look like the pellets would be doing much for you at distances much farther than that but agreed that inside of that it would be devastating......OUCH!!!!

I've got some of that too. If KB can't get to it, i'll get it done for you on Tuesday.
Thank You Both!!!!!....
-
I just happen to have a good stock of that. I could do some pattering from the M4 with it. What distances would you like?
Thanks KB!! That suff is pricey!! Haven't seen it less than $1 per rd. I've been meaning to pick some up for awhile but been spending the play money on other stuff....I'd love to see where the shot is in relation to the slug at a few distances inside of 50 yds

I don't know if anyone has done much with the Winchester PDX1 12 but I'd love to see how it performs at different distances

And just in case you live in California, you can't have a collapsible stock with a full mag tube and pistol grip. (As far as I know)
....Yup...Sadly true Renault.....

I thought you were all just bored without your favorite play toy.

Bump every 5-7 days sounds fine and separate WTS/WTB section would be nice....
-
Hey Sukhoi! ...yeah I run red filters on most of my weapon lights. They quickly flip up and out of the way if I need white light but offers good protection against degrading my vision once it has adapted to the dark

Hey All,
Not sure how long it's been out, it says it's new...Anyway, I just noticed this tonight while on my quest for the perfect M4 light setup. Surefire now makes a 500 lumen model of the X300...The X300 Ultra!

Sorry if this is old news but it's new to me...

Hi Paul and welcome to the forum!!! You can fire slugs...Definitely don't shoot with the threads exposed! You could do some damage....you will be fine using a Mod choke or less like cylinder or Improved cylinder but definitely don't want Full choke
