  1. How does the Sidearmor work with cleaning? Do you have to remove it to take off the barrel?
  2. With the shorter barrel the retainer cap won't hold the barrel in. It would be very messy when you pulled the trigger, possibly life threatening. Anyone tried the products from davesmetalworks.com/ben4.htm? Their speedbar looks like it would be better than those huge buttons people have on this site. The full length tube for $60 with spring sounds good too. Ack! Picattiny Rail for $60? Please if anyone has had experience with this company or these products put a post up about how they worked for you.
  3. He posted here noting a 1 month absence from June 8th to sometime after the 4th of July. Can't find the post now, but in a week or two he'll be back. Found it. http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22510
  4. For those with FAAAABULOUS! fashion sense. What Skeeter is doing right now:

From another thread on this forum. http://www.botachtactical.com/be70m4cost.html Benelli Collapsible Stock $225 plus shipping.
  6. This is just an amazing deal even at twice the price! Hope this is an ongoing thing that forces the price down for good! Thanks to everyone who went out on a limb to confirm it. By the way here's the link. Didn't work for me in Chrome so I used Internet Explorer. http://www.botachtactical.com/be70m4cost.html
  7. Looks like a keeper, but I think I'll see what a SCAR 17 will go for when it comes out. LWRC seems to be getting better and better every year with their offerings.
  8. I got the new low Picatinny mount. I thought that lower is better since I don't have a riser on my stock. I'd like to see the iron sights, but I figure I can just take the scope or mount off quickly. I'm actually shopping for a scope right now. Any suggestions? I found this one on Amazon for what looks like a good price. Not looking for a $500+ scope right now.
  9. Hookster, I have to thank you for the link to that video. A scope mount that doesn't make you remove the clip guide is a godsend. My crappy Chinese Polytech m14 refuses to give up it's clip guide and I'm not about to pound on it so much that I break the receiver, so I was resigned to use iron sights for the rest of it's life. I love how simple it looks to install and uninstall. Now I just have to wait for 2-4 weeks for it to get to me. Thanks again Hookster!
  10. I guess that Hollywood likes my gun. Can't really blame them Killers. Comes out June 4th. Damn, that's a big picture.
  11. Are you guys talking about guns or *ahem* something else?
  12. After some research I found this site that lets you design cutouts for your Pelican case and then they cut the foam professionally and send it to you. casecad. com (sorry, not enough posts for a link yet) Then I can pretend I'm some cool movie guy with super awesome guns.
  13. I bought an old Polytech M14 for my first ever gun about 2 years back. Got it for $700 and have loved it ever since. I've since converted my friend to the itch and he bought a Springfield M1A Squad Scout, way better than mine, but I don't think I'll ever trade mine away. Next gun of choice (when they're cheaper and/or I'm richer): FN Scar 17 Things I require of my guns: 1: Way cool 2: Simple and easy disassembly and cleaning. I've kept with these rules except for one of my guns. The Walther G-22; crazy easy to lose important microscopic pieces when cleaning. I'd have sold it a long time ago, but it's so dang fun to shoot.
  14. Isn't there a way to use the metal loop on the side of the stock of the M4? Most of the slings I look at are too wide for it. I hate the ideal of having a perfectly good attachment point and ignoring it.
  15. I saw the movie earlier today and wouldn't you know it, I had to go to the bathroom just as the movie was starting. After I got back I saw a flash of collapsible stock and elbowed my buddy saying, "Benelli M4!" He looked at me with a big grin and said, "Dude you totally missed it, they were going on and on about it earlier." Ugh! For a person that just bought a Benelli M4 2 weeks ago it near made me cry to not be able to see it being talked about with love on the big screen. At least it was the main character of the guns in the movie. All Hail the M4, first shotgun I've ever owned!
