Original SOE 12 gauge Micro Rig. Has four super fast pull-out trays that hold 24 shells plus a larger GP compartment on the other side for medical gear or even more shells. Diabolus, With that LaRue mount, where do the irons fall in the T-1 window? Down toward the bottom or closer to the center? I tend to prefer an absolute/center co-witness and a lower cheek weld, so I might run the standard mount that the T-1 comes with instead of the LaRue mount which raises it a bit. As much of a LaRue fanboy as I am. BTW, great pics!

While I have a Surefire M600C Scout Light on my patrol rifle, I like the Streamlight TLR-1 simply because it's affordable and is always evolving. The latest model is still about $100 but has the CREE LED with strobing feature. Who knows what the next ones will have. I'm on my second one now and haven't broke the bank. The Scout, on the other hand, costs a fortune. I'd look at the TLR-1 long and hard.

Does the lowest LaRue T-1 mount give an absolute co-witness with the M4 irons or does it give more of a lower 1/3 co-witness? Reason I ask is because I generally prefer an absolute co-witness and the T-1 can be directly mounted very low to the rail without any aftermarket mount (assuming that the rail is true to spec). Thanks.

Are you asking about what eye relief you need? With the T-1, it doesn't matter how far it is from your eye. Just put it wherever.

I just got off the phone with Clay at ImpactGuns and he said that the telescoping stock option only adds $100 to the cost of the shotgun. Where do you then get $500+ from this? Something doesn't compute?

Who makes the rail covers that you're using that hold down the wire? I know that LaRue's latest "Index Clips" offer this feature, but yours are something different and something that I haven't seen before. Thanks!

GG&G mounts are good to go. The height is another story. That mount is meant to work with a 2.5" iron sight offset. Then again, with the flip covers, some clearance is needed for them to open properly. I'd give up on worrying about flip covers for the Micro. The whole idea behind the Micro is small, slim, and simple.

GG&G makes one. Apparently I don't have enough posts here to include the link or the image. I'm curious if the Aimpoint Micro will co-witness through the Benelli M4 irons if mounted to the M4's top rail using the standard Micro mount (NOT using the GG&G mount, which will raise it up higher).

Yeah, I'm curious about the details behind that too. I'm not interested in taking out a Brownell's credit card or something just to get a $30 discount but if it's something easy, I'd probably be willing to do it. I order from Brownell's on a semi-regular basis. Color me curious.

Just beautiful! If you don't mind me asking, where did you get it from and about how much did you pay? I'm assuming that since you called it an "Entry" model, you bought it as an SBS rather than buying it with the 18" barrel and then cutting it down? I'd love to do something similar myself but the cost and availability is probably going to be the main factor. I already have a trust and other NFA assets though, so I know the drill. Hey, that light mount isn't polymer is it? I certainly wouldn't go cheap on that after spending thousands on everything else. Oh, and how is the light activated? And many shells does the gun hold at that length? Thanks!
