this tube is awesome. used the heat gun and put it on yesterday. for sure a vice or another helper is required. the color of this tube matches the barrel better than the OEM. cant wait to shoot it.
got mine a few days ago and put it on today. the fit and finish is superb. the color of the carrier tube matches the barrel exactly, better than the oem tub. cant wait to try it. it was certainly worth the few weeks wait.
how about - with the stock on - if you remove the trigger group to clean it. will the trigger group go right back on ? or do you then have to remove the stock to get it back on ?
but the m4 is not a hunting or clay guns. most trap clubs wont let you shoot 18 Inch tactical SG's.
there is no one gun does it all. why I have a M4 and a O/U.
hmm 30 rounds of .223 vs. 81 oo pellets in my M4 ? think if you have to double tap each bad guy withthe 223 the M4 will 9-tap them.
If I had three intruders breaking down my door I would grab my Benelli M4 over my AR anyday.
I would imagine you could get a field M2 with 28 inch barrel for trap and hunting. put on a mag tube extension and then get a 18 inch barrel to put on for HD.
mine has never missed a beat. not saying a piston isnt superior. but you need to watch the u-tubes of the AR's and AK's being put in sand and mud and then fired.
they look nice. but I dont consider my non piston AR to be high maintenence. its pretty easy to clean. as far as reliabliltiy I dont plan on shooting it 10,000 rounds without cleaning which may be the edge of the piston.
