  1. So, has anyone actually been investigated by the BATF for 922r compliance? I mean, what happens? Guys in black bust open your front door and point a gun at you and demand you show compliance?
  2. I have one, that's good enough. My next big quest is a SCAR-17S.
  3. You wouldn't want to make your boyfriend jealous. I understand.
  4. I like to use TW25, a synthetic grease, really does a great job. I use it on all my handguns, rifles and shotguns. Stays put and lasts a long time.
  5. Another chubby lover, if you guys add a fourth you could do a Village People routine.
  6. That's fine, I just find it easier to do it with the stock removed. To each his own.
  7. I heard you two were into chubby guys. I'm flattered, but we aren't going to start taking showers together.
  8. Jaeger, good suggestions, plus, I'll try to stop wearing hearing protection and be sure to blow stuff up way too close to myself and my camera crew.
  9. Hey everyone, I put together a "mash up" of various rifles being shot, including a AR 15, M4 Carbine, AK 47, M1 Carbine, M1A/M14, Mosin Nagant, Yugo 24/47, a M48, etc. I can't decide which rifle I like the best, in fact, I don't think I ever will. Are you the same way when shooting rifles? Do you actually have a "favorite"? LINK TO VIDEO
  10. Sorry guys, but a fine cigar and bottle of Chimay Trappist Belgian Ale called my name this afternoon. Will get it tomorrow.
  11. My tube came just under a day short of five weeks, as they promised, "3 to 5 weeks" delivery.
  12. OK, wish me luck people, today is the day I'm going to try to remove the old mag tube and replace it with the CC tube. I've got my heat gun, my vice padded, my high temp gloves, my LocTite, my cleaner, my brush..... I'll let you know how it goes and will be video taping the process and if it turns out, I'll post a video. If not, no video!
  13. You may have to use a bit more force than you would expect the first time, but they come loose.
  14. And the guy using it is even cuter, if I do say so myself.
  15. There you go, congrats.
  16. And remind me again why would you want to replace your hammer? Is it a 922r thing?
  17. I try to get out to my gun club with my EDC and train with it twice a month and work on combat accuracy. I drill with laser only from the hip, from concealment, then just working on getting the front post back on target, then with iron sights from further out, etc. In this video I have a number of distances I'm shooting from, at different size targets, even some steel plates. How do you train with your EDC? What kind of "combat accuracy" is "good enough" in your opinion? Would love to hear your thoughts on this and get your opinions. Here's a link to the video.

    Stippling.

I was afraid to look, but it turned out well!
  19. OK, just checking my thinking on 922r, in light of the excitement about the USA made hammer. The more USA parts you put on your Italian made M4, the more cool gadgets you can put on it, like a full length mag tube. So... I've got a USA made butt stock, a USA made follower, a USA made spring, a USA made full length mag tube. Also put on a USA made bolt release ammo feed thingie (forgot the technical name). And, I think I'm within 922r compliance, correct?
  20. OK, so remind me again...you put in a USA made hammer so you can stick more cool gizmos on the shotgun and stay within 922r compliance? Right?
  21. This is a bad Internet picture, there are no visible feet in the pic! I'd say a Carrier Comp full length magazine would sure look nice on her.
  22. A thing of beauty, here are pics:
  23. Wow, what a thing of beauty. I wish my whole Benelli was *this* well made. Going to tackle putting it on this upcoming long weekend. Everything was extremely well packaged and instruction are so clear I think even an idiot can follow them, so I should be good to go.
