Part of my video series on the Benelli M4:
-
I just received a US Mail Certified letter from GG&G today about it. Back she goes!
-
Yup, what obtanium said.
-
Keep us posted on how it goes, I'm going to be going through this in a few weeks.
-
You have a good point, I'm sorry I did not read your warning before I registered to be a customer and had a very pleasant and prompt communication from Kip's wife explaining a few things and answering all my questions. I should have listened to the big jerks running him down on this forum. ; )

Just buy a M4, replace the stock, and magazine and you are GTG. No biggie.
-
Smeck, you are entitled to me telling to not read the topic if it bothers you.
-
Ford is better than Chevy.
-
Smeck, indeed...on the other hand...we do not have to follow the topic.

If anyone cares to read it, here are my reflections on the shooting, from the perspective of a conservative Lutheran pastor. Link to post here.

I think some people have their aluminum foil hats on too tight.
-
Would like to see pics, I notice mine is difficult to load as well. Much harder than my 870.
-
Clarify, please, thanks.

It was timed via video editing software that allows me to edit video and audio software down to nearly milliseconds. .7 seconds was the time.
-
Even more..."no thanks." Ridiculous price.

Renault, the video of Flannigan burning through 12 rounds in 1.442 is nothing but him doing a mag dump. I was shooting 00Buckshot, with an unmodified Benelli M4, no trigger or action mods. Here's the video of Flannigan burning through 12 in 1.442, by the way:

Beretta owns Benelli? Glad to hear it, makes me like Benelli even more now. Timed it in my video editing software which lets me see time on the video down to the 100th of a second. Like I said, just under .7.
-
He got 12 shots off in 1.44 seconds. I got six off in just a hair under .7. I did not take calculus, but...I think .7 x 2 is less than 1.44. The POINT of the video, of course, is not to suggest I'm Flannigan, but to demonstrate just how fast the M4 actually is. I'm tired of hearing how the Winchester Whatever is SO much faster, blah, blah, blah.
-
Can you elaborate? Is it more difficult to manage recoil with the grip on, or off? Thank you.
-
Now that's a good question.
-
So, I've got my M4, and am slowly adding things. I'm leaning toward a railed foreend for light and...a vertical forward grip. But.... I would like some advice/observation. Is using a VFG a good idea with a shotgun? And if so, which one would you guys recommend?

Putting the M4 Benelli through it's paces, demonstrating just how quickly you can get shots off with it, noticeably faster than the full auto AA12 shotgun. Now, where can I get a belt feeding system for it?? At 2:13 you can watch me get off six shots in under .7 seconds. I'm sure there are guys who can do it faster, perhaps much faster than that. Somebody tried to tell me the Winchester semi-auto whatever was faster, and linked me to a vid where the shooter got off 12 shots in 1.44 seconds. My math is not the greatest but....seems to me that under .7 x 2 is faster than that. Just sayin' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8dibSfoBtGU

$184..... But..... Don't tempt me.
