looking to get rid of, barely used. I have no use for this in California and I prefer the pistol grip stock anyways Looking for Paypal Merchant transaction, immediate payment. You must cover fees. Also available is a Supernova stock, has one small scratch on the pistol grip near ring from previous owner. $220 shipped. Will expire after July 25.

Good find truckcop! I think the M-121 /SL-80 magazine tubes are so compatible, they have the fine threads as well. It looks like your M1 was the early transition to the M1 super 90 we know today.
-
Any pictures? I have never seen a "fine" thread tube. very curious! I got a several magazine tubes laying around.
-
I had my gunsmith remove the tube, he wrapped it in a wet rag and directed heat on the nut. It melted a little of the receiver. New method is to remove the slotted screw and retaining ring from the end of the tube and direct the flow of heat complete throughout the inside of the tube.

true true.... but the choke tube has a thin wall thickness, different mounting system, and M4 carbines do not have the equivalent recoil of a 12 gauge. speaking of recoil, i wonder if this would reduce recoil? I wish i wasn't in CA, or else i'd send in my transfer paperwork and be the guinea pig. I am very curious about the how it effects reliability, balance, cleaning, sound signature, Buckshot?, Slugs? etc... $1400 MSRP!!!!
-
Looks like it is mounted on a choke tube alone, and that is alot of leverage hanging off that barrel. I will laugh when people start showing up with damaged choke tube threads.

First off, what you perceived as rust is actually just bare heat treated steel. How I think I know is because you indicated everything else on the gun is in good condition, usually on the M3s the other heat treated parts will rust and wear at the same rate. As a side note, the company I work for makes steel rotational pins that are also heat-treated but un-coated for cost-saving measures, I am pretty sure benelli had this in mind in the early 90s and 80s. Now they are coated matte black or in Nickel for that gorgeous KROMO. The magazine tube twists off just like every other Benelli, they can even interchange with other 12 gauge size Benelli except for the sl-80, m-121, etc. series. Now for actual removable, any gunsmith should be able to remove the receiver but whether or not they harm your receiver is up to them and how they remove it. When my gunsmith removed the part, I asked "So.... How difficult was it?"; he responded with "I don't even wanna talk about it!" Also would like you to know it is best to have spares of the slide support. As shown below, the russian gun forum I visit often, a shooter managed to shoot his M3 so much the slide support split along the top. Needless to say, I don't think he ever replaced it. Good luck,

You should also get a M1014 pistol grip and spare recoil spring.

Actually, the difference between the two is that the newest import is better. There are too many little changes revised to be listed. By the way 00Stormbringer..... If you destroy your plastic support washer, you will not find one from Numrich. They carry the older washer that messes up your barrel [unless you modify it]

I guess I am the only one? My extensive M3s with all kinds of configurations. Get one HK, you will not be disappointed! Right now my M3 with the pistol grip stock stays by my bedside, another M3 stays in a case in the car, all my other M3s and benellis are locked away.

This video shows just how advance Benelli's Manufacturing sector is! Believe me, all the equipment is hundreds of millions of dollars of investment for Benelli. The machine shop I work at is primitive compared to Benelli's.

I can't take credit for the pictures!

I have a copy of the video, just haven't had time to submit it yet

Here is a quick look inside the factory: I bet Remington or Mossberg doesn't have this sign

I have both Dave's and Socomguy's. The threads on Dave's is a little a more sloppy and has welds on the shoulder; color match is close but you can faintly tell a difference. Socomguy's threads are a good fit, it is a clone of the Italian crafted one. My tube was a little more black than parkerizing. Both of the inside surface finish is good.
