Check out the M-2 field in 20 ga. Mine has a 26 inch barrel and i use it for dove,rabbit,squirrel and pheasant.

I heard of the older M-2's with the grip tight coating had some peeling issues and benelli replaced them for new ones. I have a 20 ga. M-2 and this is its second hunting season of busting brush for rabbits and the finish is still good on mine.

LOL!!! I miss more than i hit and its not the gun fault lol!!! I'm 50 so not young but getting older so i wanted a nice light gun to carry and for my daughter to shoot and that 20 ga. is awesome !!! Dove, squirrel and now rabbits. In the spring were going trap shooting so it will get a good workout then!!!

If you dry fire it then try to pull the bolt back with the safety on you will feel it. Tried it with my M-2 just to see and as soon as i felt it getting tough i stopped.

Our rabbit and pheasant season starts nov first here in ohio. More rabbits than pheasants around but my M-2 twenty will be getting a lot of use!!! Great gun and money well spent!!!

Wow what a nightmare!!! Hope it works out for ya!!! Just looked at the link to GB and they one catalog pic and thats it. Did have a F and a C in feedback but the rest were good. I'm thinking like you and agree that they didn't get what they wanted for a new one and threw that one in. I'd be cool with them till i got my money back then i would post a F rating with GB. I have been shooting my M-2 for a few weeks now and have been through corn fields and thick woods and it still looks like i just took the plastic off it. That gun looks like it went to mexico and has had a few thousand rounds put through it on a dove hunt.

Yeah who cares about warranty cards and whats in the box because it should be returned for a refund plus shipping.

I think the stock is a lttle shorter also. If you compare the two and look at the space between the last chevron and to where the recoil pad attaches you see a shorter space on the compact. When i bought my M-2 20 they had both so i first sholderd the compact and it was way short to the point to where i would not have bought it if they didn't have the other. Woodcock comes in next week and then rabbit and pheasant a few weeks after that so lots of fun to be had with the bebelli.

Bought my first Benelli a couple weeks ago and could not be happier with it. It is in 20 ga. with the 26" barrel. I have a question about the grip tight coating on the the stock. I did some reasearch before i bought the gun and found some posts from a way back where people were having trouble with it peeling. Thanks!!! Since that pic i have got a few more squirrels and some doves. I like to use a 22 on squirrel but the 20ga is working out great using size 4 shot.
