ScalarWorks with an RMR is perfect for my needs
An optic on top of the Benelli rail is just too high and uncomfortable

The IWC light mount is AWESOME
I highly recommend it.
I tried one of the Briley cheese graters and hated it.

I asked a guy at the LGS today that has been selling Benelli and Beretta shotguns for 30 years. He didn't even know that the guns carried a date stamp. No help there.
The only reason I was curious is that Italy makes a big deal about dating their firearms. I guess it's no big deal to those of us in the states.

Not a very knowledgeable sales guy…..

It’s the gun letting you know where it needs lube……it’s good to go

You won’t notice the noise when you are shooting.

Buddy of mine has this gun, he was having the same problems. It is not the firing pin guys, its the locking lug. Stop pulling the pump back, and push forward. The gun has play in it, about an 1/8 inch which is why so many are getting the click and no dent on primer. check your own gun. Does the bolt separate when pulling back vs pushing forward? If so, push forward on the pump. If you're still having issues, take it to a gunsmith. Will post a fix for this when I can get my hands on his again so you won't have to worry about pulling vs pushing the pump while firing.
I was able to replicate the OP’s issue by doing this. I had never had a malfunction with my SN Tac that wasn’t shooter induced

I’ll get a date code pic shortly

All a muzzle brake did for me was increase the noise level. They are very brutal in an enclosed environment like indoor range

I got one…..I’m in the LIKE crowd

The “blue” hue is a factory fuck up guys. This whole USMC spec story is just that: a story to sell fucked up guns.
Guess I like factory fuck up guns….

A seller can’t control what ships in

I’ve considered adding one, haven’t gotten that far.
The polymer has an indent for one, would just need to fit a socket into the stock body

I used red…….

Thank you both for taking the time to help!
I think I’m going to give one of those a try. Thanks for your help! I think this is exactly the solution I’m looking for.
The concerns about the zero return was due to some comments about the Benelli factory pic rail being less than bullet-proof but if it’s working for you I see no reason it won’t work for me. Thanks again!
You’re quite welcome Sir

@M2_shootr, I’m considering this setup (T2 on factory rail). Why did you change?@Nocturnalnature, Are you still running this setup?
I changed because I liked shooting with the stock fully extended. With it extended, the T2 was too high. The RMR is the perfect height for me.

Message sent, I could use one

Trying to figure out what trigger mods I’ll get done.
Have an A&S housing on hand, FFT trigger kit and a Geissele hammer.
Kinda leaning toward installing the FFT parts in the A&S housing and selling the Geissele hammer
-
Is there still a market for these Geissele m4 hammers?
