Damn, that's a good looking bolt release!

Honestly, the best way to unload the gun at this point is to find a wall in your house that you don't care about then just blast it until the magazine is empty. Don't forget to wear eyes and ears.

Well, I'm not sure if cool but it's become trendy among outdoor folks. The price has gone up but the quality has gone down.

Spin it a few times and feel for how it grabs the bolt. You'll quickly get a feeling for how it works and when to pull it out.
Won't take long for it to become second-nature to you!
Also, don't be afraid to ask questions. We've got a good group on this forum and are always happy to share our knowledge. Welcome to the board!- 1

For range trips I've been using this case from First Tactical and I absolutely love it. Nice and light. Only complaint is that it doesn't have any pockets, but anytime I'm carrying this case I also have my range bag, so it really doesn't matter.
FYI- First Tactical is owned and run by the same guys who initially started 5.11. While 5.11 has turned into "tacti-cool" gear thanks to its new owners, First Tactical products are built to a MUCH higher standard. I'd recommend them over anything else out there at the moment.

to pin it for California.
hold the stock in a vise, remove the cheek shroud, drive it out with either a 4 or 5mm punch.
Ah, that makes sense.

Anyone have any clues on how to remove the button on the collapsible stock?
Why would you need to?

This video will show you how to remove the trigger group. (professional)
This video will show you how to remove the trigger group, stock, and magazine tube, as well as the reinstallation of all three.. I'd recommend being a little bit more gentle though, as this guy is manhandling that gun. (amature)

Are you looking for the OEM handle?

Damn the edit time limit on posts...
Forgot to quote @StrangerDanger -
I'll take that top rail

I don't care for it on the standard M4, but the CF tube looks amazing on the burnt bronze!
-
Okay, so how do I do this???

The tube looks good, @StrangerDanger!

Looks like I just may do that. Installed new 7 tube, and it only holds 6. So long spring it was. Tried bumping out the spring retainer, but the cap just presses it back in. If I unscrew the cap about 3/4, and the shell fits, albeit tight. Figure I will try the trim of the oem spring first.
Glad you were able to get them all in, but having a spring fully compressed isn't good. I'd still trim it so that there is about a 1/4" of movement when full, should be about two coils with a Wolff spring..

Personally I'm a fan of the Briley handles, as I have one on my SBE3 and M4.

Sweet bike hope you don't miss out out on too much riding her!

Thank you! I still have the bike, it's just in pieces cause there is a problem with the motor and Ducati North America is trying to screw me over.
It knew it would be down for a while so I bought a new R1 last year so I'd have something to ride. Now I like the Yamaha more than the Ducati haha -

Oh nice! That must feel good on the gun!

It’s hard to perceive the difference on 2.4 ounces
True. When I put the CC tube on my gun I noticed the difference immediately though. I was able to swing the barrel easier, even with a full load.
Different Pistol Grip?

I have the c-stock on my M4 but I was wondering if there are different pistol grips out there that will work with it.
Is anyone using something different?
