  1. Went for it and M2.5x45mm is correct for both the M2 cheapo OEM front sight and the mid bead. Just wanted to post some results in case someone else was wondering.
  2. Mike, all jokes aside, the only way to make a mechanical correction is to install a taller front site or an adjustable sight set like the gobble dot pro. There is quite a grand debate on whether Benelli's have some inherent European sight picture bias or whether differences in POI is a manufacturing variance. None of that really matters because if you feel your gun shoots high and you want it to shoot lower you'll either need to compensate or change the sights if aiming is required.
  3. I will just say that the guy and his wife are very nice. It seems like a small business and they are doing there best to make high quality tubes for a huge market. So, it may take time, but you are giving your money to real people and not a corporation.
  4. I am thinking its M2.5x45mm, same as the factory M2 fiber sight. Anyone able to confirm?
  5. Anybody know what the thread and pitch is for this midbead, benelli OEM part 60868? Thanks!
  6. Everyone be honest, how many Benelli's do you own? Don't judge, lol. You know you got them stacked!
  7. You know, the black finish does look different. I think the black cerokote theory is highly possible. Additionally, it is stamped "IT" after the serial number. So, there is something different about it.
  8. Just bought one and its black. It has to be a collectors item, right. Super rare "2020 Serial Black M4", $6000.
  9. Hey, just wanted to see if anybody had seen this. I bought a couple M4's, both 2020 serials. They both have a Y starting serial, but one, the higher serial one, has an IT stamp after the serial. Also, the IT one is parkerized jet black. The other has the bluish parkerizing. Wonder what changed at the factory?
  10. I think its the other way around. The M4 is a top of line tactical shotgun. The M2 is a great tactical shotgun, 3gun competition gun, trap, hunting, etc. Its the Benelli forum, which means you just need both, lol.
  11. Thanks, I took it apart, cleaned, degreased, and reasembled with red locktite. Pretty sure it's good to go now. Thanks!
  12. I thought they have a 10yr finish warranty.
  13. I have considered cutting off the ghost ring and tapping the top of the barrel for a standard sight. But, takes a lot of guts to try that. Other option is too buy a LPA rear sight and tap the reciever to install it.
  14. The california commemorative model is different. The model number is 11701CA vs 11701. The california model has a screw which locks the button. I suppose the 11701 does not have a lock screw. The 11701CA model is stamped M1014. The model 11707 is the pistol grip stock stamped with M4 and is CA legal. The seller could pin the stock, but people just aren't up for the hassle.
  15. I noticed my barrel rotating slightly. Does the barrel extension just unscrew if I continue to twist the barrel? Do I need some locktite in there? I painted and baked the barrel. So, could be my fault, not sure. Thanks!
  16. I got one, been on the fence about selling it. Will send you a PM.

    Benelli M2

I think it will loosen. Its not like you can own a gun without ever breaking it down.

    Ammo?

How about a 3in 1500fps game load? That kicks like a motha. That would have to hurt.
