10-4, if I decide to go with the P-2 I'll just mount it directly to my rail on top of the M4. If it's too high I can adjust my Mesa stock to compensate.

I don't own/use nods, but I do see where that would be a concern for some users. I thought about the ACRO P-2, just not sure how it would work with the Scalarworks or Mesa Tactical RMR mounts. I was thinking about getting one of these after getting their HS407C X2 for my PSA Dagger pistol. I wanted something that was titanium, fully enclosed and didn't break the bank. I currently have a Mesa Tactical SureShell Carrier and Rail for Ben M4 (6-Shell, 12-GA, 5 1/2 in) (mesatactical.com) on the top of my M4. But I was torn between mounting it directly to that, using a Scalarworks Scalarworks SYNC/RMR - Trijicon RMR mount for Benelli Shotguns that I have or maybe one of those new Mesa Tactical SureShell® Aluminum Carrier With RMR® Mount for Benelli M4 (6-Shell, 12-GA) - Mesa Tactical that has the shell carrier and the RMR mount built in. What say yea? Thoughts, comments and suggestions welcomed. ?

The moment of truth has arrived… my Streamlight ProTac HL-X fits like a glove on the IW mount and works well with the Truckee! The light’s tail cap knurling rubs just slightly on the Truckee, but you can still take the tail cap off of the light when it’s mounted.

No, I haven't had the chance to. I have my Streamlight ProTac HL-X installed on my Ruger PCC at the moment, so I'll swap it over when I get off of work this morning if I've got the time.

Will do sir... I didn't have the correct bitset on me when I installed the Truckee. I only had star bits and not the correct hex bits. I almost tightened it down with the wrong bit and would have more than likely stripped it out and/or damaged the screw. ?

Well guys and gals, it looks like it’s going to work. I got the Truckee installed today, but I couldn’t find my Streamlight ProTac HL-X. It looks like it should clear it with the scout mounting. But I’ll report back with pictures of that, worst case I’ll have to install the 1913 pic rail I’ve got with my IW mount.

As some of the members on here suggested in another thread, I ordered one of these direct from Mesa today. It should hopefully be here next week. Once I get it installed I will take pictures and report back my findings. Thanks again @StrangerDanger and @CAUS for the input and suggestions!

Thanks @StrangerDanger, Yeah I bought the IW mount mainly for the sling swivels. But I did get the version with the 1913 rail piece, installing that on the side of the IW mount may not work with the Mesa forend. I am interesting in trying it out and reporting back my findings to the forum members.
