  1. have u looked at briley? https://www.brileygunsmithing.com/c-1051-open-loading-port.aspx
  2. it the new “updated” version.
  3. i think its possible with any charging handle had it happen with the rx handle i used to run as well as the taran tactical v2 i’m currently running. it didnt happen with the oem or the 3/4 fft though admittedly i didnt have those on very long.
  4. i don’t have the rmr set up but i do have the scalar works sync version for the aimpoint t1/h1. i have a holosun 503g currently on it. It co-witnesses nicely. i was considering switching to the Gideon Optics Advocate prism red dot to deal with my astigmatism. I just haven’t got around to it.
  5. from the website in the OP link: MSP Scout Light Mount For Benelli M4 Designed specifically the Benelli M4 for Scout lights. This mount is compatible with Surefire M300/M600 Scout lights, Streamlight Rail Mount 1, 2, and HLX Weaponlights, and other scout lights that use CR123A batteries. (If you have a Surefire Scout Light Pro please use the MSP Scout Light Mount For Benelli M4 version)
  6. i agree with the above. i also prefer the oem polymer handguard with a stipple job.
  7. which moa did u get? 0, 10, or 20?
  8. whats weight unloaded? also do u get much barrel shadow with that light set up?

    Final Build?

so how much does it weigh?
  10. recoil tube benefits? please clarify.
  11. i feel like it secure enough. i mean its not like its slipping off as i’m handling/shooting it. i can pm u links to pic.
  12. in regards with the boxy grip of the urbino, u could easily replace the rubber grip on the urbino with the rubber grip off of the oem collapsible pistol grip. i learned that from a user on another forum. definitely more comfortable now.
  13. better is a matter of opinion. i use qd because of the option to go from 2-point to single point. plus the light mount i use has a qd mount. so i added qd mounts to the stock and receiver to match.
  14. that depends on how u want it attached to your m4. u can easily buy the version that attaches directly to the oem sling mounts already on the m4. however, if u want it attached via qd then u need to add qd attachment points.
  15. i agree with john doe. hand tight is plenty good enough. remember this weapon was designed, more or less, to be field stripped by marines in the field.
  16. damn. i saw this post too late. would’ve jump on it if i had seen it earlier
  17. i ran a low adm mount for my holosun 503g (has aimpoint t1/h1 footprint) prior to switching to the scalarworks sync. with the adm mount there was absolutely no cowitness possible with the irons as they were blocked by the mount. that was my reasoning for the switch.
  18. i have the scalarworks sync with a holosun 503g. it has the primary arms acss reticle. its held up so far—3 yrs+ and maybe 1200 rounds give or take. i wanted to get an aimpoint but with my astigmatism i didn’t wanna spend so much just to end up lookin at a misshaped starburst.
  19. ya i have run slugs through mine just fine. i took a took a tactical shotgun class earlier this year and the instructor would not let me shoot slugs through it with the mod choke installed. had to run my back up gun.
  20. please enlighten me: what does backboring the forcing cone do?

    M4 heatshield

I don’t see anything in that site that mentions the Benelli M4. Have u ordered one yet? Let us know your experience with it. Thanks.
  22. many of these upgrades are user preference. if u do a search here you’ll find a ton of threads regarding this very subject, many with pics. don’t want to rehash it all. good luck with your choice. on a sidenote: that stock is fairly new (at least to me) so haven’t heard of any feedback regarding it.
  23. can’t help with your ither questions but the “star-shaped” screws/drivers are called torx.
  24. OP, have u had a chance to shoot it since u got to this current configuration. Please share a range report. I’m personally very interested in hearing it. I thought I was done with mine, however, I’m not completely sold on having a pistol-gripped stock on my shotgun (mesa tactical urbino) as I have always ran traditional shotgun stocks. I considered getting a benelli field stock but feel they’re too long for my liking (based in listed specs, not experience) and lack the cheek riser the urbino has.
