Yeah I know. I told myself that I would not buy another M4 until this stuff sells. I have passed on a few already. And sold a couple of other things. I never sell things.

WCCPHD, My 1301 has the Magpul stock which has seperate inserts for customizing the length of pull. Might want to try one out. It is actually the mossberg magpul stock with adapter for the beretta.

I shot two mags of birdshot #8 off the hip with my M4 and 1301 the other day. Both ran fine. SBE3 runs anything. Shoot a lot of cheap walmart Federal 100 packs at skeet. Never has a problem. I do keep my guns lubed up. And clean after every range trip.

They are both great shotguns. 1301 doesn't have track record as M4, but very reliable. Amazingly light recoil for light gun.

I agree. But looks like your truck can carry a few more. I'm sticking to the truckload method.

Nice. Got the LTT 1301. Like it a lot too. Fun to shoot one after the other. They handle very differently but I like both.

Went back to oem field stock. Did not like the fit on the Mesa's. OD Green Mesa stock w/cheekriser/limbsaver and forends - $225 Black Mesa stock w/cheekriser/limbsaver - $175 Mesa 8 round Aluminum top rail and shell carrier - $125 Mesa 6 round carrier for cheekriser right side - $75.

Thats the trouble I was having. Cinched down. Not very good position for pistol transitions. Also got a mesa 8 rounder hanging on the rail. I want to get another and go adjustable stock and more lightweight eventually. Too many other purchases ahead of that for right now. I may stirp back down to a minimum. Stanger, Do you know if the limbsaver pad on a mesa will fit the field stock? It looks a little different.

I did move rear to the right and that helped some. Also was trying to fire from left hand some. Awkward. But need more practice. I am also looking to have some shoulder work in the near future.

Posted earlier about the kick of some Black Ace 00Buck I shot today. Pretty strong. But really had a hard time finding a good position for Blue force padded sling. I have an IWC light mount with the QD up front and attached to a field stock on the back. Anybody else run this setup? Kept hanging up when I would bring up from a free hanging position. I run these on many of my rifles and love them.

OK. I finally shot the Black Ace 00buck today. It will only load 6 in the 7rnd tube. Pretty good size shell. It kicked like a mule. Patterned pretty tight at 10 and 20yds. I shot the M4 and Beretta 1301 LTT. They handle the recoil totally different. You can feel how the weight of the M4 absorbs the recoil better. The 1301 handles it surprisingly well. You can feel both after a full tube of rapid fire. But very manageable.

Also has the original cut on the indent, so it works like original.

I just got one a few weeks ago and really like it. It really is a blown up version of the original.
