Dick's half off everything ammo sale

Now, it SAYS buy one box of ammo get one box half off ... but that's not how the coupon is ringing up at the cashier. It's ringing up as 50% of EVERYTHING you buy, up to 6 boxes of ammo (maybe more) and including other non ammo items.

 

This coupon, and it's abuse, was brought to my attention by this thread

Apparently it has worked for just about everyone.

 

Here was my receipt for the stuff I just bought.

 

 

4 boxes rem 45 acp

1 box hornady 223

1 box rifled slugs

1 savage 22 mag

 

They first computed the sale prices, then knocked 50% off of everything, even the non ammo item.

 

Those boxes of 45 were 8 dollars each ... overall it was more than 55% off my entire purchase.

 

I'm going back tomorrow to buy more stuff.

 

Is it dishonest? Maybe. Am I still going to exploit it? Yes.

 

If you don't beleive in this type of thing, don't do it.

To bad there is no Dick's where I come from. I probably would not buy from them anyway. I can't say they are one of my favorite places to shop.

The only ammo I ever normally buy locally is cheap 100 packs of skeet rounds.

 

I don't like Dick's either, which is why I don't feel bad about taking their ammo from them.

 

I got 6 more boxes of .45 today for 7.99/box, down from 19.99/box

Good for you. Unfortunately my cashier didn't do half off the total sale. He did half off the 2nd boxes and then forgot to give me my extra $10.00 off for getting the Dick's discount card.

 

Still a good sale tho'.

yeah no special deal only what it was supposed to be, 30 bucks off two boxes of 4570 lever revolution ammo. cant complain

That's almost as good as Quantico Arms website selling Aimpoint ML2's for a sale price of $9.90! Not sure how many orders they got that night, but I can tell you it didn't last and none were honored for that price as far as I know....
