malakaz
The past 2 weeks i have been hunting in heavy rain for ducks and i usually come home take the gun apart wipe down the gun and let it dry. in the morning i clean it. I am noticing rust marks on some of the metal components on my supersport. It does come off with a good scrub of win oil, but is there anything i can do to prevent this from being a bigger problem? axhoaxho
I have good experience with Eezox. Try to apply a coat of it next time before your similar hunting trip, it should definitely help. Regards,
Doodle
Sorry, you cant do anything except get some wipes and wipe your gun really well. I have a Sport II and I have the same problems, and people have said that the legacy has that problem too, there is nothing you can do except wipe your gun! malakaz
i have read to use eezox as well most people say they clean, lube, then apply eezox. is that what you do as well?
thebiggiantkevin
I wouldn't wait until the next morning to clean it. Wipe it, let it dry for an hour or 2, then oil it. I've had really good rust prevention results with Slip 2000. Kevin

I did not test T-9 yet, but it should win as it has a parafin base.
