I'm looking at some options for an improved AR trigger. I was wondering if anyone had experience with the two-stage triggers from LMT or Geiselle?

I have a Geiselle SSA and it kicks ass. Good luck getting one though. Last I checked the backorder was absurd. I bought two, thinking I would use one, and ended up selling the extra for $225. It sold in 5-10 minutes as I recall on ar15.com.

UNO's right!! but you can also get a RRA 2-stage trigger for about 60-70$ on either GB or FEEBAY!! i have it and it rocks!!

Yeah, I noticed the availability issue but I'm sure one could be had given enough diligence, patience and $...

It is also worth just what you payed for it and quite often has been found to break, or lose a stage. I would get the LMT before I got the RRA. Both are a distant second to the SSA.

Probably the DMR adjustable. I would hold out for the SSA personally. DMR is all over because noone wants them. They want the SSA, which is what the military is replacing the KAC's with.

Keep your eye on gunbroker. I got my Geiselle SSA for 200 bucks new. The SSA is the one you want. No adjustments to worry about. Keep the KNS pins away from these triggers.

I'm not sure about pin size. I have a Bushmaster lower

I'm pretty sure you have a small pin lower. .154" pin. Large pin trigger groups are on older Colt lowers.

 

The KNS pins damage the C-clips inside the trigger pack.

Buy the SSA. Now. Your bushmaster is the small-pin lower. KNS pins are solutions looking for problems.

I modified my factory trigger following instructions found on the web and I am very pleased with the results.

If anyone else is interested in the Geiselle SSA trigger. Adco seems to have very fast shipping. I ordered this morning early and it's already on the way.

ADCO is great. One of the fastest companies I've ever dealt with. I had a 8 day turn around for my barrel to get contoured and threaded. That counts my shipping there and back.

I believe Colts have the large trigger pin now adays? I can't find any one that has them in stock for the large pin

The slave pins that come with it are a VERY nice feature!

I don't know how you can sleep with unwrapped toys laying around. The urge to try the trigger would motivate me enough to stay up and put it in before bed.
