StrangerDanger Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 It doesn't look functional to me. The further you are away from the T-1, the more sensitive it is to your position behind it. If he has the unit at Shot, I'll check it out. Quote

xamoel Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 who proposed to them that operators are trying to mount their micro as far forward as possible? maybe someone from sidearmor or another competitor? why not add a magnifier, so you can see your micro? i'm really no pro at all, but that just seems wrong to me. StrangerDanger Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 What would be more useful is a mount that allowed you to mount an optic like the T-1 above the handguards of the M4, but lower. So you could retain a 1/3 co-witness of the sights. It could be done, but it would require a different approach. Quote

I really don't know what their thinking is with mounting the optic so far forward. Quote
texas skeeter Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 why not add a magnifier, so you can see your micro? this sh-t is funny right here!! i dont care who ya are!! Quote
Dntama Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 I do not understand why they would even pursue making this. There are already better options with a receiver mounted optic than mounting it way forward on the barrel. What happens when you clean you gun ? Will you lose your zero as it looks like you need to loosen the clamp to remove your barrel. Quote
