Pair of Benelli M4's -- In Hills Have Eyes Country

I spent most of the day out in the Mojave yesterday exploring mines and everything a typical liberal democrat would say should be banned. In other words, it was a fun day.

I took a couple photos of my M4's at a Hills Have Eyes type building that we found in the middle of BFE. It's the type of place you could imagine dueling banjos coming from the porch.

This place was in Clark County Nevada, South East of Searchlight Nevada (hometown of everyone's favorite senator). The mine is called the Goldenrod. We got there at sundown, which made for perfect lighting conditions. Most of the relics (ie: abandoned junk) appear to be from the 50's. Not another human around for probably 15 miles.

None of the bullet holes were from me.

An engine block to an old dump truck that was still onsite nearby.

The remote lake Mohave is behind the comfort inn. It is the lake directly below Hoover Dam.

Almost ran this guy over. They can move pretty quick when you're flying down a dirt road at 60mph. They're pretty rare to find out here anymore.

I wasn't inside the park on this trip. I was close, another mile or so and I would have been in their jurisdiction. However, I'm told that the law is now in effect where you can carry within the park according to State, County and City laws. I don't have a NV CCW, so I just open carried. We were in such a remote area, I didn't expect to see any NPS Rangers anyway. By 6pm, they go home and leave the Park unprotected.

You can check out the laws for your particular park here:

The law in Arizona is better than on the Nevada side. Clark County is full of douches and have implemented a lot of additional laws.

Places like these aren't rare out this way. These places were all built around the same time the Manson house was out in Death Valley. The more remote they are, the better they've held up over time. Fewer douchebags visit them basically.

This place was the best. Unfortunately someone burned it. The best place to sleep there was on the flat roof.
