Benelli M2 Tactical - having an issue

I was reading the specs for the M2 Tactical and it says 5+1. I asked the gun store owner before I purchased it and he said the same thing. I double checked the box and shotgun just to make sure I got the right one.

 

I can fit 2+1 right now. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or I'm handicap. When I try fitting in the third shell it goes about halfway in with a lot of pressure.

 

Can anyone tell me if I have an issue or doing something wrong? It's brand new out of the box and never fired.

Yeah that worked, you can tell I'm not use to shotguns.

I've been shooting for awhile but this is my first shotgun.

 

I guess this is common sense for shotgun owners? No one has ever mentioned it to me before.

My Benelli can hold 5 +1 +1.  Five in the tube, one in the chamber and one is the ghost round. Look it up on YouTube

I thought about getting an ext. tube, but when I found out about 5 + 1 + 1, I didn't think it necessary as my M2 is to be used for HD.

I didn’t think you could ghost load an M2 without modifying the bolt carrier.
