THE_NEW_GUY
Ok guys I have a SBEII in a right hand that I’m looking to change over to left hand!!! Can this be done? Why you may ask? I found out last year that in cross eye dominate. Meaning I’m right handed but my left eye is my dominate eye. So I’m looking to change over my right hand shotgun to a left hand shotgun. truckcop
Why change guns? I've been shooting "right hand" guns off my left shoulder since I was 9, when I got my first shotgun. I've never, ever been bothered by shells ejecting to the right. The Benelli safety is easy to switch around. To change yours from right to left, you'll have to get a whole 'nother barrel/bolt assembly, if you can find them at all. You can probably find a used lefty SBE for what it would cost to change out the one you have. Trade your righty for a lefty if it's that big a deal. tucker301
The lowers are identical and the safeties are reversible. You'll need a left-handed upper, bolt assembly and gel pad. Even if you somehow find those parts separately, you'll spend as much or more as you would if you were to simply sell the RH gun and buy a LH one. BOB_HARWELL
You can only change the safety, stock shims & recoil pad. I made a RH 20 M2, LH by doing this. BOB
cksh8me
You could just put some tape on your left lens on your shooting glasses and you'd be gtg.
