xamoel
can you actually use those 37mm launchers for anything other than signaling? is there lethal ammo available for it?
AggiePhil
can you actually use those 37mm launchers for anything other than signaling? is there lethal ammo available for it? If there was, every shell would have to be registered as an NFA Destructive Device. In short, not worth messing with that. People get em for the fun shells. Smokes and flares and such. Google is your friend.
xamoel
seen the smokes and flares, the GB seller selling the launcher also sells DIY ammo kits.

AggiePhil
Completely worthless but still pretty cool... http://www.onlythebestfirearms.com/beehive.html Interesting. Does not state 37 or 40 mm. Emailed them to find out.
AggiePhil
It's a 40mm shell. And it's an NFA item in and of itself.
Broken Legend
Found a better explanation of the beehive. Pretty cool though. http://www.everydaynodaysoff.com/2009/10/13/the-beehive-hornets-nest-40mm-10x-22lr-adapter/
wired
The manufacturer will sell you one of the bee hive shells in 37 mm if you can show proof of NFA licensing of the flare launcher as a DD. $200 tax. BFD.
Super Dak©
I go back and forth on whether or not to get a M203, but if I could, this is what I'd get...just 'cus it's that cool!! http://www.autoweapons.com/photos06/nov/pump40.html
AggiePhil
Someone milled a Beehive round down to 37mm and it exploded because it was too weak to handle the case pressures.
