arrowmike
Is the super nova worth the extra money? I have never used a 3 1/2" shell and am not sure that I will. This gun will be for duck and goose hunting, which is something that Im trying to get into. I have hunted upland and done trap but always with 2 3/4". So the whole 3" and 3 1/2" is new to me. My thoughts are that with duck and goose hunting is to bring them in as close as possible before opening up on them. And feel that a 3" shell should be more than enough to drop the big geese. Like I said Im just getting into this so feel free to share your thoughts and comments. What are your thoughts?
Novaking
No. I don't think it's worth the extra money. Novas can shoot 3 1/2 shells too, doesn't have the comfortech stock and doesn't have the bigger trigger well. That's it. I have owned both and sold my super. tucker301
Supernova has a removable stock and I assume it's also adjustable for cast and drop. The original nova has the one piece stock/receiver - no adjustment.
fikester
Myself think the SuperNova is worth the few extra bucks for the Comfort Tech Stock, Adjustable Shim kit. Just me.
hognutz
Me too..It's a little more to pay for a few extra amenities. I have one of each, and like them both.
SelaDuckSlayer
I had the same questions when i was buying my shotgun. I was stuck between spending the extra cash for the upgraded supernova. I went with the supernova because of the comfortech stock. I have since shot hundreds of rounds through it and can say i feel a difference with the new stock. But like they all say, get what feels right to you.
LuckyDuckTTU
I just went with the Nova and put a Limbsaver on it. The limbsaver really helped out a lot. Nova with the limbsaver feels better than my friends SBE II. That's just my opinion though.

I saw that in the manual they even show how to installed, but I can not find it in the Benilli online store? MAX4Utah
I think the oversized trigger gaurd is worth it alone. Shooting when it freezing and wet out you need gloves and the oversized trigger gaurd is awesome! The comfort-tech is deffenatly nice too.
