BLACK
I've handled that gun. Very nice piece, and certainly unique. They have something of a factory 'duckbill' choke to produce a diamond pattern. Or something.
Vertigofirearms
I almost bought one..... because we (California) cannot have the LAW-2 or SPAS-12. -LPA TC-82 rear sight -Identical gas system as LAW-12 -A&W diverter choke standar, some had ported muzzles -Unlike the SPAS-12 and LAW-12, The HK-512 does not have a magazine delay button -Action bars and bolt same as SPAS-12 and LAW-12 -Not an NFA weapon as some assume
DragonNester
Wood is for elegance...doesn't work for this style gun...IMO. No offense intended.
maxfan
Are the photos of your Hk512? Nice! Unfired? Do you have the box and manual for it?
Unobtanium
Wood is for elegance...doesn't work for this style gun...IMO. No offense intended. I disagree. Wood CAN be for elegance, right-o, but wood stocks are time-period correct for a bad mother of a shotgun like this. Those shotguns were made ONLY for the German military, under contract, around 25 years go. Before everyone went to polymer-only, it seemed. Just so you are aware, about 300 made it to the US. Current retail $2-3K.
DragonNester
I agree. I didn't know this was a period piece before I commented.
Unobtanium
I agree. I didn't know this was a period piece before I commented. Yep, this is not some neo-retro throwback. This is legit retro. Not "Trench gun" retro, but...
