NHnewbie Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Been seeing this advertised/mentioned in various places. Wondering if useful on a HD M4? http://www.choketube.com/choke-tube-style-details.php?tactical-breecher-choke-tubes&cts=24 Quote
BLACK Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Wondering if useful on a HD M4? Yes. It allows the operator to breach his own doors so bad guys can come in. Quote
mtstream Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Use it to open a locked bathroom door. It'd be the last time a teenager does that! I probably shouldn't joke, some moron may try it. Quote
NHnewbie Posted June 9, 2014 Author Posted June 9, 2014 It allows the operator to breach his own doors so bad guys can come in. The "cleverness" of some here is without limits! I can envision a scenario in which the "operator" might want to breach his own doors to get out! Quote
M4-Desert Camo Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Trulock makes one too ... http://www.trulockchokes.com/tactical-c-24.php?osCsid=e513e96e2f312145ee4c73e14fe6ba28 Quote
RoadDad Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Use it to open a locked bathroom door. It'd be the last time a teenager does that! Wow. I should have thought that through before trying it... Not only do I need a new door, but my kid and wife are p*ssed. Quote
RoadDad Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 To the OP, no, you do not need this choke for home defense. Quote

Yes, it's becoming increasingly popular that criminals will stealth their way into a home and reverse all of the door-knobs so that the locking mechanisms are all facing the other side of the door. This allows them to trap the home-owner in their home near their firearms. Quote
Unobtanium Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Wow. I should have thought that through before trying it... Not only do I need a new door, but my kid and wife are p*ssed. A few broken eggs in every omelet. The door is open, now, isn't it? Quote
RoadDad Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 ...The door is open, now, isn't it? It was but I don't know about now. The wife won't let me back in the house. Quote
