REZARF2 Posted March 31, 2024 Posted March 31, 2024 Finally tracked down a collapsible stock for the M4 and only needed to take out a second mortgage on the house to buy it. Pro tip: Buy the M4 ONLY with the stock you think you want to run. It will be the cheapest way to acquire it. Now that I have a collapsible stock on the way, what is the best way to mount a QD for a sling onto it in a secure way? I really prefer my QDs on the right side of the gun above the centerline near the butt stock. Not sure the M4 gives me many options for that? I am all ears. I have added Noveske's QD's to several guns and they are robust, but I am hoping to see what else is out there. Pics are always appreciated. Quote
REZARF2 Posted March 31, 2024 Author Posted March 31, 2024 Nevermind, I should have checked RXarms... he's killing it with the custom M4 parts. 2 Quote
benelliwerkes Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 (edited) Years ago mounted a Mesa Tactical QD to the grip roll pin location. You need right side mount, flip it about. Edited April 2, 2024 by benelliwerkes 1 Quote
cas Posted April 20, 2024 Posted April 20, 2024 (edited) The IWC mount would work, but just like the light mount, you can't buy them anymore. (I have one on a rifle and couldn't remember who made it. Searching a bit brought me to the realization that it was the same company.) "right side of the gun above the centerline near the butt stock." Would a regular M-Lok style QD mount fit in that groove? gumby510 Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 What about a qd mount on the top rail in front of the ghost ring sight. Quote
