dkhunter
What do you think the best cleaner is to use on your guns.
mudhen
Breakfree CLP - cleans, lubricates, protects. I like it on the matte finish Benellis because it keeps it black. Smells bad, but it seems to work. mudhen - CA
threeshot
I like to use M-Pro7 to clean (no smell) and FP-10 (scroll down to the bottom of the web page) for oiling the gun. Regards threeshot
fezman
i like to use hopps #9 for heavy cleaning but i agree with mudhen about the breakfree clp i always keep some with my gun stuff and in my day pack for everything. AVOID WD-40 at all costs un less thats all you can come up with. it evaproates and becomes gummy
sirmallard
CLP is the only thing I use. I was in the Marines for four years and that is all we used on the weapons there. It does an outstanding job!
robk
i just picked up some new stuff form hoppes and it is enviornmentally safe and no smell like most of the solvents and oils have. i have not tried it yet but the local armors of two police stations said they started using them on their tact team weapons and found them easier to clean and store and took half the time the next tiem to clean them up and also has a nice oil as well. i will try and let people know about it later on but the person i bought it from she has been a good shop owner and friend of mine and hasn't steered me wrong so far. give it a look see and maybe that will work for you rob k
