eotech or aimpoint on m4?

Does anyone have any experience (positve or neg) with either one of them on their m4?

I have an Eothch on an M1014. Looks good, but have not shot it yet. It is a Law Enforcement / Military version. Plan to put some rounds through the M4 and the M1014 on Friday March 31.

Given the "heads up" factor of the Eotech in sighting, and the fact the Marines choose it, I expect it to be the better choice.

I plan on keeping the M4 as issued, just the ghost ring sighting.

They both are very good. I seem to prefer the Aimpoint on the Benelli's, especially the M4.

EOTECH Rules the M4. Thats what I think. I have a AIMPOINT on another rifle. Don't get me wrong the AIMPOINT is a quality optic. Since I own both and have had time to compare. Personally I think the EOTECH is the better of the two. But thats my opinion.

I agree with you 100%. I have seen both setups and I like how the EOTECH looks and works.

Just took the M1014 (and M4) to the range.

 

Trust me, go with the EOTECH. They are great.

A friend just let me borrow the eotech 511 and it looks good. I'm plan on taking it to the range and put it to the test. I'll let you know.

Eotech is vastly superior on any shotgun. The 65 MOA ring is a much better depiction of what your shot will actually hit.

 

Personal preference though.
