Flhawghuntr Posted March 6, 2008 Author Posted March 6, 2008 looks like you're also getting much more easy going in your OLD age Nah not really still pretty mean at times but hey it's almost Turkey season so it is time to relax and not be so mean all the time! Quote
HUNT2HUNT Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 I am an avid waterfowler, big game hunter, and not predator hunter. This will be my forst year to turkey hunt and i am 50 years old. Never did it because it seems very unexciting and a lot of sitting still just to shoot a bird that is walking in front of me. I don't mind being in a tree in a climber all day Deer hunting thought. It must be something that you only love after doing it. I hope that is true. Im excited about it. Quote
Flhawghuntr Posted March 6, 2008 Author Posted March 6, 2008 I have hunted Deer, hog and waterfoul and to tell the truth their is nothing more exciting than spring turkey hunting. If you experience it and don't like it then you are already dead as it will get the blood pumping for sure! Lets see some pics from last spring guys! Quote
HUNT2HUNT Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 I meant to say I am now also a predator hunter. Turkey hunting must be the real deal. Quote
CH/QuakerBoyProstaff Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Give it a go, and I can assure you that if you get a true experience, you will be hooked.Just let that gobble hit you in the darkness for the first time, with your gun in your hands, ready for the daylight, you'll know then. Quote
mudhen Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 While any year I can get out and hunt is a good year, last year was a pretty good year. A few from last season: Quote
