Same. All to save a few bucks in its construction.
Overall its still better than the Surefire M80, Strike Industries Shrike, Agency Arms rail and the SideArmor rail. I haven't handled the Briley rail in person yet.
My search comes up empty. If someone has a link to any installation instructions or wouldn’t mind writing a brief instruction would be appreciated. I have a Benelli M2 tactical with ghost ring sights and purchased the Benelli night sight insert posts sight set. I’m pretty handy but if a video or instructions are available I like to read or watch first. I did purchase the front sight nut wrench and spare locking nut but any information on the rear and front sight disassembly or any tips would be helpful
thank you!
I have 3 different levels of Elzetta strength. I use them still on occasion to look in a closet or a crevice. I cannot believe how much more light I have gotten used to. They seem like incandescent now!
Haha I'm in the same boat. I ended up selling both my Reins in preparation for the 2.0s. They did mention an upgrade promo for rein 1s.
The video kind of explains the whole candela/lumen reason.
Son of a B! Every time I buy something the next best thing comes out. It happened with my Elzetta and now the Rein!
70k candela is a big boost. Lumens dropped to 1,100 not that it really matters.
Just wait a bit. They are releasing version 2 of these soon. Lighter on the weight, smaller bezel, and better throw/candela.

I enjoyed taking my stock apart to install the Noveske sling mount. It was interesting to learn something new about how the gun is built and StrangerDanger’s and benelliwerkes detailed instructions and their generous diagrams photos etc. made it an enjoyable little project. The plate looks great too.
I had experienced the same thing with the SYNC 02 I used to own. Wasn't too concerned with it. I have since gone back to using the OEM rail with an ADM low mount.
