  1. I've actually made a minor change based on this feedback on the latest batch (finishing up today) to address this concern. Thanks for pointing it out, gave me something to consider the past day. Was able to get the change in just in time.

  2. Just checked mine more thoroughly and looks perfect with no visible issues. Sorry yours arrived like that. Hopefully you get taken care of.

  3. Just to give an update, the gun is currently at my FFL getting ready to be sent back to Benelli. I also sent KYGUNCO (the website I bought it from) an email about the issue to see if they can do anything about it. I really appreciate everyone's input and I'll keep you guys updated.

  4. You, my friend, were lucky to experience what customer service should be! I too have had good experiences. It seems that the good experiences are becoming lees common.

  5. I agree! I doubt it left Benelli that way. The LGS was probably hoping you wouldn't notice.

  6. I'm pretty upset with myself that I hadn't noticed it during the transfer. The gun was still in the box and wasn't assembled yet so I looked everything over but somehow missed that. In hindsight, I should've taken everything out of the box and assembled it but I just didn't want to lose anything. I'll try not to make that same mistake again. I just sent Benelli a repair request with the pictures so hopefully that will help. I've been trying to determine what could have caused that damage but I think you're right. I guess I'm just one of those guys who is OCD about scratches and dents. Trust me, I wish I wasn't lol.

  7. Probably happened at the dealer/gun shop would be my guess. Pisser they did not mention the scratch/ding. If you don't get satisfaction from the dealer, I'd suggest shooting/enjoying the gun and getting the part cerakoted down the road. There are good folks here who can advise on taking it apart.

  8. I'm gonna be in the minority here and say it doesn't look that bad. It's plastic not bluing so it's just cosmetic, rub a little shoe polish on it. It's gonna get dinged with use, honestly, you should have spotted it when you picked it up and Benelli has no way of knowing you didn't do it. "Those aren't scars, they're beauty marks", I'd just keep it.

  9. We standardized for parts, ammo commonality, and interoperability. Every adult in the immediate family has a SBR'd 5.56 10.5" AR-type carbine, a 7.62 16" AR-type carbine, a Benelli M3, a Glock 19, and an Omega 36M that can be used on everything but the shotgun. There are two MRADs with .308 and .338LM kits at different locations, and the Omega 36M works on those as well. We also decided to leverage the AR-15 platform's modularity; every 5.56 carbine also has a 16" upper and we have three CMMG Banshee 100 .22LR uppers at different locations. And plenty of parts.
