wow,,thats cool you have such a vintage Benelli,,,you have owned it all this time,,you know what it does and doesn't need ,,as for choke tubes,,didn't know they changed threads in the early 90s,,try gunbroker and numrich parts house,,last ditch effort,,google,,show us a pic of your vintage beauty.
first of all I want to thank tucker 301 for the visual reference,,after further reading here,,gonna lean on more lube in the proper places,,rim of the head bolt,,rails,,recoil spring,,the locking head pin,,trigger group,,ya know,,just a drop or two on each area,,maybe the mag tube also,,,
didn't ya''ll hear?????Benelli is bringing out the m4 in many different colors to match your purse, dress, high heels and even your panties, gotta love matching outfits.oohhhh don't forget your slings and cases.
with the gun put together, empty of course, work that bolt back and forth several times, see and feel for something thats impeding the manual operation ,, something may feel loose like a busted spring,,pull the bolt all the way back and let it fly foward,,,it should slam home ,,if it doesn't the check your recoil tube,,don't know how far you tore down your trigger group,so lets say out of the gun only,,examine it carefully for something busted ,,loose,,woreout etc,,keep us posted.
from what I've seen,,its a two piece item,,Benelli cuts to fit the emblem base first ,then the emblem fits into the base,,the emblem has a shaft that inserts into the base,,if you can carefuly remove the emblem from the base,,it will give you a better estimate of how to resecure it.
