  1. Got photos of the firearm with the forarm off?
  2. If you look at http://www.impactguns.com you will find a M3 26inch vented rib barrel that they can sell you or get for you. with all 5 tubes. or you can go to E-gunparts and get a M3 barrel. 26 inch vent rib with the choke tubes But like anything. It will cost you as its a "special" barrel Jesse
  3. Well i am happy to say that my M1 side saddle has made it to my house today. The intent of this side saddle was to put on my M3 so i wouldnt have to drill or tap any holes in my reciver. So far that part is great. On the other side. due to it being a pump gun also. the slide is not able to move all the way back in pump mode. But still seems to work fine in auto mode. Which is what i primary use. Right now the option i am looking at is to buy a new forarm so i can cut it down to the laught i need so i can use both modes. This would solve the problem and at the same time keep the orginal forarm in orginal condishion. Overall the finish seems to be great. I kinda like there "gasket" that they have althought it dont seem to work on here. Fitting to the firearm seems to be decent. As the mount seems to be solid to the firearm and there is no play up and down on the side saddle and seems very solid. Althought from looking in from the ends i noticed a gap between the reciver and base of the side saddle. But i am very happy with it. Althought this was not made for the M3 shotgun, it seems it will do the trick just nicely after i buy a new forarm as i dont want to cut the one i have now. So far the only thing i would want to change on this is to change the direction of the screw going into the reciver to hold the side saddle on as the acorn nut seems to interfear with the right side of the reciver for me. Will have photos up soon. Jesse
  4. The magazine plug is in the shotgun still for Legal hunting of Migitory birds. Look at your manual to figure out how to take the magazine plug out of the tube. Jesse
  5. Speaking of witch. i just ordered a 8 round M1 side saddle to put on my M3 benelli. cant wait to see it works. looks kinda odd. but if it work it works Jesse
  6. maybe there are different names for the lever. but i beleave in my M3 manual its the "cocked indicator tab" Jesse
  7. Not shure about anyone else. but i generly find the 3 inch game loads to kick more then the buckshot and slug rounds. Maybe because the 3 in game loads i have are 1 and 5/8th oz compared to the slugs of 1 oz or just over one oz. not quite shure what the 3 inch 00 buck or 000 buck weights in at Jesse
  8. Depends on what firearm. its alot easer to say that the firearm is (922r) or what ever compliant if you have a full laught tube on it instead of a short tube and a extention. Jesse
  9. Do they even have Full laught "factory tubes" being sold to the public?
  10. Are you directing your statment to me M3X2 or is it to Keith1863? Jesse
  11. This is from the Indiana DNR sight for hunting with a shotgun "With a shotgun capable of holding more than three shells, unless it is plugged with a one-piece filler which is incapable of being removed without disassembling the gun." Now. i am not shure how to read it. would taking the plug retainer out be consitered "disassembling the gun" in order to make my shotgun legal to hunt with with the limiter in. or is it saying now that even thought i have the limiter in. i cant use it to hunt because i need to take the barrel and such off in order to remove the limiter. kinda tricky wording i think Jesse
  12. the M1 seems like the M3 on the tube. if you look at it. you will see that the end of the tube is rolled in or crimped if you would say. and the spring retainer kinda looks like a washer from this angle with a hole in it rests up on the crimp on the magazine tube. That is the onlything that is holding the spring inside the tube. Makes putting the magazine plug in reather nice and easy. but i can see how it can have flaws for the spring coming out if the crimp expands. Jesse
  13. Alrighty, we will start out with the magazine retainer. which on mine is held in the magazine tube by the crimp in the tube. The magazine limiter will slide in the hole on the spring retainer and push the retainer down where the limiter has the E clip installed at. Next is the limiter retainer ring. not shure if the short magazine tube has this or not also. http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a77/Rabbit-Slayer/Benelli/DSC00298.jpg This is what keeps the limiter inside the magazine tube. In order to install it you need to put the plug in and then put this on top the plug and push down one end first and then the second end in. In order to remove you need to push down on it. hook your finger under the lip and tip it at about a 45 degree angle to remove it. Once installed it should look like this http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a77/Rabbit-Slayer/Benelli/DSC00299.jpg I am assuming that the shorter magazine tube is set up similer to what my 7 round tube is. Jesse. any other questions feel free to ask
  14. I have a Benelli M3 with the one peice mag tube. Not quite shure about yours or how it works for the limiter. On my one peice tube the end of the tube is crimped with a retainer plug that has a hole in it for the limiter to slide in on. if all the parts are the same you should have your spring. a spring retainer. which should look like a cap of some sort with a hole in the center for the limiter. Your limiter. and then the limiter retainer. which is round with two flat ends. and a hole in the center with a lip for your fingers. i will some photos up for you. Jesse
  15. Because the magazine plug and spring shot out of the tube. you may want to look at the crimp on the tube its self. If the old spring and plug shot out from the tube, i say there is a good chance that the new spring and plug will shoot out of the tube also. Jesse
  16. i notice on the websight it lists some parts and accesseries. but where would one go in order to order them. such as magazine plugs? Thanks Jesse
  17. Thanks for the link Outlawsix. From the info i got from the PDF my H&K Benelli was made in 1991, Not shure when they stoped with the H&K Benelli name or when the started. But i am pritty happy. Also took it out yesterday to test it out. Whent great shot everythig i tossed into the breach. from 3 in mag 1 and 5/8oz #4 shot. to the kinda wimpy 00 buck 2 3/4 in mags and 1oz 3 in mag slugs. down to the cheap pratice 3dram 1 1/8oz target loads of # 7.5 Cycling was quite slow on the target loads as i could actuly watch the bolt cycle back and forward. As for the magnum rounds i didnt see the bolt so much. or the shells flying out. excpet the flame coming from the barrel. Most deffintly a Blast BTW, do you happen to know any web sights to buy the magazine limiter and extra barrels for the M3, And taking the magazine apart so i can clean the inside Outlawsix. Thanks in advance. Jesse
  18. Nifty. but i think i will stick to this one right here my new pride and joy. Just wish i could find a sight where i can date it Jesse
  19. Thanks for the Info. i have already downloaded the manual from Benelli Itialy. the front of my magazine tube looks differnt then the one they have in the manual. It looks like i may have to call Benelli Thanks again Jesse
  20. Its has the pistol grip and rifle sights which i prefer. The other question i have is how to get the magazine plug at the end of the magazine out so i can take the spring out and clean the inside of the tube. Also wanting to get a round limiter for it and a 26 inch barrel for hunting pourpus. As i stated befor the magazine is a one peace tube. At the barrel end of the tube its a tapered crimp with the spring holder that has a hole in it. i can push down on the peace the holds the spring. I will see if i can get some photos some time soon of the magazine spring retainer. That along with a new spring kit. This firearm was well used and took me about 2 hours to clean out all the gunk in it. Dont think the guy was into cleaning, almost starting to wounder if it was a old PD gun. But still think i got a great deal none the less. Jesse
  21. Hello i just recived my M3 today and have a couple of questions but only going to ask one at the moment. After looking at the barrel it dosnt state on it if its 2 3/4ths only or if it also accpets 3 inche. all that is stated on the right side of the barrel is "MAGNUM CAL 12 CL" On the left side it says "Benelli ARMI SPA URBINO ITALY" the bottem left says "KG 0,730 CAM 76 - 18.3 i am assuming the CAM 76 would be for 3 inch shells but not shure Thanks for your help Jesse
  22. If you dont mind me asking No Beginner, how much did you pay. And is it a HK import. if you wish not to disclose any info, its all good. Thanks Jesse
  23. Well i can say now that i am a proud owner of a Benelli M3, well soon to be anyways. I have won the auction and hoping by mid week it will be here. http://www.auctionarms.com/search/displayitem.cfm?ItemNum=7911102 HK import. with rifle sights on the barrel. Still not shure if the magazine tube is a one peice or two peice. When i called it sounded like he never took it off as he said "it looks like a two peice" so when it arives thats one of the first things i am going to check Thank you Jesse
