The M2 barrel will not work on the SBEII. Your best bet is to buy the gun in a slugh configuration and then add the field barrel. Field barrels are still scarce, but they are easier to find than are the slug barrels.

There are a number of Supernovas listed on gunbroker right now. You can also give Reeds a call, as they show several models available as well. Buying a gun online is easy. All you need is a local dealer who will do the transfer for you. You or they will fax a copy of his license to the seller. The gun will be shipped to the transfer dealer and you pick it up from their business after filling out the necessary paperwork. The transfer dealer will charge a nominal fee for his services plus any state fees required. Generally, you can expect to pay $25-$30 to the dealer. http://www.reedssports.com/Category/main.taf?cat=2027

Why would Beretta buy something they've already owned for almost 9 years?

They are VERY good. Mine has performed flawlessly for 4 seasons now. Obviously, on a site such as this, there will be posts by people who have had problems with their guns in one form or another, but I have nothing but positive experiences with Benelli. My SBEII has needed nothing, but I had a R1 rifle that gave me some trouble. Benelli CS worked with me professionally and courteously to correct the problems.

The color settings on your camera are messed up Great pics! Thanks for sharing!

Here it's East/West with I95 as the dividing line. You can draw a swan permit in the west, but you gotta drive to the other side of I95 to shoot them.

Something's wrong on your end. There is no username nor password required to download the manuals. The downloads use the FTP protocol instead of the html. Download Firefox and try that. Works fine from here.

I don't know about online purchase, but certainly one of these will have what you want. Reeds Cabelas Gander Mountain Mann & Son Numrich

mudhen has tested more turkey loads and chokes than anyone else I know. Look through his posts on the turkey hunting forum and you will find plenty of good information.

While the abundance of resident geese don't leave, the migratory birds do come and go. In essence, you are hunting (or could easily shoot) a completely different animal than you do in September. The seasonal splits allow migrating birds to move in and out unmolested and it allows them to rest. After two solid weeks of hunting, I welcomed this week in VA, but here it is Tuesday and I'm already looking forward to Saturday I don't know if other states do splits like this or not. Others can chime in on that.

But seriously folks... The only half moon I'm familiar with refers to a woodruff key, which is shaped like a half moon.

Half mooning is showing just one cheek.

Question about actuating pump on an empty chamber...

Running the action will do no harm. Some say that dry firing will do harm... maybe. Some people spend hours building muscle memory and dry firing for control. I wouldn't worry about it. -
Post your arsenal! (pics of course if not then just say what you have)

I don't know. It's just a joke folks. Let's move on. -
A noble endeavor, but it's not likely to happen here. No precedents of stickies here. It's unlikely that Benelli will make a sticky on something they have actually purposely engineered OUT of the weapons. Better chances with shotgunworld.com.

I think not. Honda - Quality parts, workmanship, reliability, support, and a profitable company as a result. GM - Well, you know that story.

You'll need a tactical case or drag bag. For example

I don't see where rotating the pin would help, but it's free, so try it. If the action cycles properly by hand, then the energy being transferred yo operate it when firing is being diminished or impeded in some way. Could be friction. Could be weakened springs or gunked parts, but something is robbing it of energy. Make sense?
-
Does it eject properly when you cycle the bolt by hand? If so, then you may need to replace the recoil tube. I believe those earlier models weren't stainless steel and it's probably weakened or corroded internally.

If they did strip, Brownells sells an oversized screw and tap to fix it. It's a pretty simple process to tell if they're stripped. Just inspect the hole for stripped threads or try a new screw. If you can turn it in a couple of rounds and it's still loose or it can be pulled out, then it's stripped.
