  1. Very nice. What corner is this?
  2. Use very light applications of good quality CLP, like Breakfree. You should experience no problems... especially in GA.
  3. Forget crio. Forget Comfortech. Those are marketing gimmicks. Fact is, the Benellis are made of better materials, better engineered, assembled with more care, and perform better. Look at this way: Stoeger = GM Benelli = Honda

  5. I couldn't possibly offer an explanation as to what happened, because you have failed to provide enough information to determine the cause of the failure. Were base or ring screws stripped? Did the rings come apart or did the base come off? I mount all of my own optics, because I realize that the best sporting goods store can at any time have the worst employees.

    R1 ?

You should probably look more closely
  7. I apply drops of CLP to all slides and internal parts, then wipe them all down. Never have a problem with mine shooting Kent Fasteel, Federal dove loads, and Winchester dove loads. I have had a few Drylocks to not eject properly. My theory on gun lbue has always been that oil attracts dirt, which leads to gumming, fouling, and failure. I never leave anything wet, just coated enough to provide corrosion resistance and a slick surface on a molecular level.
  8. If the problem is with one specific brand and type of shells, then isn't the fix a bit obvious?
  9. EVERY shooter should have a pump-action shotgun as their first gun. My first choice would be the Remington 870. Second choice, Nova. Youth models available for both. With the Remintgon, it would be simple enough to cut off the stocks and then buy a full-sized replacement stock for later. If you are determined to get them semi-autos, then the Beretta 3901 would be my choice.
  10. Do you have the gun setup for RH (cast-off) or LH (cast on)? Benelli shotguns are Italian shotguns. Europeans typically sight their guns differently than do Americans. Try stacking the beads and leaving the entire target visible just above them, like sighting a pistol or rifle. Don't cover the target with the beads.

  12. It's simple physics. Benellis have less weight to scrub recoil and no gas system to vent some of the energy.
  13. Shotgun = Point & Shoot All that sighting stuff is just silly.

  15. Do they have a law which prohibits your moving to a free state?
  16. We had a good morning. I shot a limit and my partner got three. One of the gadwall drakes was a beautiful specimen and I probably should have saved him to mount. Alas, he now marinates. And, yes, we shoot hens. Someone on here wanted to see a better picture of my decoy bags. I bought the camo cordura online and had an auto upholstery guy make them to my specs. Should have given them a bit more height on the inside, but they do well enough as they are. Bungee is strung through the top and we put brass eyelets on the bottoms to make them drain. They are held on with SS screws and can be removed for annual cleanings.
  17. Sample legislation written by an extremist group of far left nuts on a website. Good grief.

  19. 2. The plastic followers can become scuffed and rough over time. The aluminum follower would be more resistant to abrasion and distortion.
  20. He's in Turkey.
  21. Adding to what Mr. Duggan said. http://www.benelliusa.com/firearms/partsAccessoriesPads.tpl
  22. 1. Yes 2. No 3. Maybe Buy the Benelli if you can afford it. If not, get a Beretta 3901(?) from Wal-Mart.
  23. The ring is designed to be removed with the aid of snap ring pliers. You can get them at hardware stores, home centers, auto stores, etc. You can also remove the ring by inserting a screwdriver or other tool into the hole in the center and prying it up on one side, then the other. CAUTION: The spring under the cap is compressed. Do not stand over the thing while removing the cap. You'll shoot your eye out, kid!
  24. What a mixed bag! Nice shooting!
