  1. Sorry, missed this one. 100% agree with you, but still metal is metal. It can break or bend and you cannot always rely on it. What was my point. [ 02-01-2006, 09:36 PM: Message edited by: garren ]
  2. Sometimes, if a scope is new it is possible to have wide pattern. The lenses need to be settled in place. Don’t be offended by Tucker’s comment, but he is absolutely right. That isn’t a right way to mount a scope. Try to remove the scope, heat and clean from the “lock tight” and mount it back properly. [ 01-30-2006, 10:36 PM: Message edited by: garren ]
  3. Sure you would pay more if they were. It’s just our wishful thinking that it would be $200. I doubt they would ever be available as an upgrade. No one would by it for half price of the gun and it wouldn’t be profitable to sell it for less. [ 01-22-2006, 12:47 PM: Message edited by: garren ]
  4. Badger, Thanks for link. It's really very interesting.
  5. Correct me if I’m wrong. I never assumed that the break-in procedure would prolong the barrel’s life (proper cleaning could). I always thought that the idea was to polish the bore for accuracy and reduced fouling, regardless of the type of the rifling. So, I would suggest to stick with the procedure as Tucker said. Better safe then sorry.
  6. Well, I didn't get any answer yet, but I found that the red mark on gas chamber is missing. I think they changed the gus chamber entirely. So, it could have been cycling problem.

  13. We had a lot of concerns on forum about feeding malfunctions. And the answers mostly point to cleaning of the gun, which is possibly right in case of careless, not proper maintenance or usage of bad quality ammunition. But I had experienced the same problem with my gun, and believe me - I’m taking very good care of it. And it doesn't happen after 10th shot, mostly after 3rd or 4th. That’s why I’m still doubtful about cleaning issue only. Somehow it might be a heating problem, because it happens mostly during follow up shots. It might also have something to do with Inertia recoil system itself. Those are just guesses. The bottom line is - we've got a problem, and if Benelli people are screening these posts, they have to come forward with an explanation and/or solution. Gerry, Your complaint about the part of gun maintenance in owner's manual is absolutely correct. If you search earlier posts on the forum, you will find a lot more useful info about cleaning than in manual.
