  1. I keep my 45 in my drawer next to me full of blanks (shhhhhh). I figure I just blow out his eardrums that will hurt like crap. also I was forced to after I got married... the shotguns a different story.
  2. thats what I thought you meant, but I was thinking you meant something else because cleaning a shotgun with a regular air compressor just doesn't make any sense to me how that works thats so crazy. so then rather than wipe out the oil you blow it out or something? and how did you know about the car?

FOOL, goole rocks froogle sucks (insert tucker burn)
  4. its the little oj thing on the top of the magazine tube
  5. t-too oo e-ea-sy
  6. to a certain degree; a 14" breach barrel isn't evan long enough to let the powder complete the burn before the shot leaves the barrel. Thus the shot doesn't reach it's full potential and a barrel of that length is only useful for point blank range. As long as the barrel is 18" long than the powder has completed the burn. and after that point the pattern and power wont change it will be easier to aim as tucker stated. go to benelliusa and go to dealer locater and put in your zip code and it will show you some dealers you can drive to. and It is OK to shoot steel through IM... kind of its risky. I wouldn't do it. and the label is there to tell you that they won't guarentee that it will work or that they will fix it if you ruin the barrel. I would strongly recomend not using it in IM but I'm saying that so you aren't disappointed if you ruin it. and now you can't use it because now i have jynxed so now if you do try just once it's going to have catastrophic results.
  8. I would advise to use synthetic gun oil, or oil with a weather guard. You should make sure that you clean the internal parts regualrly too. You have a semi-auto now and they require alot of attention in the action almost more than the bore. but if you already do clean the action than just pretend that that text isn't there. and you should be aware of not over oiling and that you oil only the moving parts. and the total number of drops of oil should be about 5 in the whole action. And for future reference, I find that Beretta gas operated autos are the best of the best.
  9. I have never found any trouble with the nova safety has everyone else had that problem?, because I have read several complaints about it. As for drilling and tapping through plastic, I did that myself with my little "workshop" if you want to call it that. (its basicly my fathers old shed that he gave me when he retired that has all sorts of crap in it. as for you no I have not attempted a mounting of a scope on a nova. anyway for a nova I would not mount a scope its too complicated, I mounted a scope on my legacy escort because it came with factory grooved Dovetail mounts that seem to be fine. 10. The best patterning i got all together with crio chokes is #2 steel with mod. For kent matrix w/ crio I got the best results with #3 lead with improved mod. for ducks I would recomend using kent w/ IM. for geese I would use the #2 steel with M. interesting... I have seen that in a semi-auto only onceand it was from fouling on the action. The problem could be that the spring isn't doing it's job and pushing the action forward. Do you see stressful operation when you send the action forward maualy? if so it's possible that their is something in the mechanical parts that is obstructing the actions slide. do you clean the action after every time you shoot it? because when you have semi-auto it's vital that you clean and oil the internal parts reguarly! If that isn't it and whatever the problem is how the gun came than you can send it in to benelli and the warranty on it should cover factory damage. 15. I have seen the legacy and it is designed for elegance. I have one shotgun that I have for display only. and it looks like it was made for elegance, my father found it in france in WWII and gave it to me later. I can't shoot it because the barrel's are majorly pitted but I still re-blued and re-furnished the outside of it to look nice. In your position, considering that you obviously have guns that you could use in the same situation as that one. I would rcommend storing it on display in a well filtered glass case, "It's too pretty to shoot" Or you could you know not do that it's just what I would do.

Well what do mean "cycle problems" could you specify I little more as to what stage or what seems to be happening when it cycles? But if you mean what I think using 3 dr is the answer. if you mean it's cycling particularly slowly or if it doesn't appear to be ejecting very well The recoil reducer hasn't really caused any problems with mine. in fact I have never had any problems ever, but the design may have been changed over the past 6 years I don't know. In any case your solution sounds like the first logical one. [ 04-23-2005, 10:44 PM: Message edited by: The_Gun_Guy ]

  20. Wait Wait Wait. at least with a single bullet you can be sure that you will hit your target and nothing else. Oh and by the way I'm almost positive that a approximatly .75 inch diameter peice of lead will NOT go through someone but using buckshot is kind of risky. the stuff flies all over the place and you can't be sure if one of those pellets is going to disperse out of pattern and teepo something or someone. but I am not particularly educated when it comes to buckshot patterns because I only started using it a year ago; So if I am wrong feel free to tell me off. I am also pretty sure that a howitzer is illeagal, and besides If you sleep next to one of those and someone does break in the person is screwed and so is about half of your house. 24. Personally I prefer the Beretta AL391 Urika But the SBEII Is still a good gun [ 04-22-2005, 08:26 PM: Message edited by: The_Gun_Guy ]
  25. Hah, they shouldn't they're only frozen in carbon dioxide at -300 freaken degrees F . its only the process it's not any sort of permanent cooling process. it's only to evanly distribute the grain of the steel therby eliminating barrel misshaping under extreme heat. so it lasts longer Nothing personal: I don't mean to insult you mudhen, its just that you walked right into that one. Oh and tucker: comon its too easy I know you can add to that. [ 04-22-2005, 08:21 PM: Message edited by: The_Gun_Guy ]
