Been a long time since a quality basher has visited and this one was told what to do and just could not do it? Benelli CS comes thru again with proper info but people are clueless when it comes to following instructions? Guess with all his money he was PO'd cause they would not sell to him? Still trying to figure why a Birdman buys a Slugger for Bird season? I will agree Benelli has issues but Firearms Importers have to deal with a lotta BS and their advertising could be better but all in all they seem to me to doing a great job, their form of Marketing is Italian kinda like their Shotguns and i have never had a problem other than my shotgun took a while to get to me but i ordered new year model prior to release which i was smart enough to figure out and was happy just like i am now!!

If you would have called Brownells like Benelli C/S told ya to this might not be such of an issue for yourself. 45 days is a lifetime?
-
Yep this info is the same he was told by Benelli and guess he did not wanta order one like he was advised to do?,Well i can't help that a hole lot but i do have a big bottle of Whine that i picked up for 2.99 that i will part with! and it is in stock! Cheese is allways gone around my house helps me keep my Colesetroil above 300!
-
Once i am thru with her! So get yourself a foot pump and couple strong feet!!

is this the website for the diamond that yall are speaking about? http://diamondguns.com/cgi-bin/storenew.pl?page=/new/order.html&setup=1&cart_id=1842041.2220 Google Diamond shotguns and it says Benelli and Franchi has this shotgun but i tried links but no luck but ya try www.diamondguns.com and it pulls a couple up around 450.00?
-
you answered your own question if shells do not cycle do not use direct quote from Benelli, if ya have a malfunction due to shooting correct rounds ya might wanta shoot some high brass thru it first. My dealer told me that and said you will have problems cycling if ya do not do it first. He said Benelli Rep told him this and i did it and i have shot groups of low brass and not one malfunction, but i ran 30 ea 3.5 Turkey heavi-shot thru it first and the trigger group gets the bulk of the dirt except my barrel would get gummed up from the hull crimp and leave plastic residue in barrel which comes out easy but the 3.5's are hot coming outta the crimp!!

Brownells will have barrels in Feburary and 45 days to wait for a barrel is not a long wait. Yes they should have them allready but they are not even advertised in 07 Catalog so i would take it they might be in the 2008 "catalog". Brownells called me this AM, Breanna at ext #5392 said they were 625.00 and the slug barrels were 715.00. So you wanta sell model# 11142?
-
welcome to Benelli Forum and congrats on purchase no matter what Birdman says!
-
attention all "QUOTE" Turds and Morons , Brownells told me about 30 minutes ago the APG Barrels will be available in Feb of 2008 a grand total of 45 days give or take a day or 2 so get them drawers unwadded and get your 625.00 and call Breanna at brownells ext 5392 and order first so you get first or just sell it and slow down on the bashing and complaining!! yes and you were lucky you bought the slugger cause that barrel is 715.00
-
http://www.truglo.com/content/contact.asp they can fix you up, most of them fit both but to get the correct one ya might give them a shout! or Midway i would measure your rib but no picture http://www.midwayusa.com/ebrowse.exe/brandlisting?brandid=1852&utm_source=truglo&utm_medium=vendor

shoulda, woulda, coulda, they have been known for not keeping their catalogs up to date but the online version is only thing ya can go on unless they said it was available and seems to me you can't afford it and just wanta bash them casue you should have bought the bird barrel to start with. Is the original slug barrel in APG? Guess ya did not order it like they told ya to do due to the price their barrel prices are way overpriced and that has not been a secret! Good luck with getting a bird barrel and lord only knows what catastrofic nightmare is lurking next! Retailers suck don't they!
-
once ya get the price i doubt you will buy it anyway but call Brownells and order ya one! Like CS told ya you were foxed by the retailer!
-
relax or sell it before ya have a stroke or Carpel Tunnel! Bashing Benelli will not get you a barrel that is not even made in APG scheme? Is Cabelas the culprit that told you they could have the Barrel in a couple months? So Benelli told you that they made this barrel in the APG or that it was in the works? So what was the price of the field barrel in APG and where did ya get the quote? catalog only shows one finish and it is not APG? Guess it would be classified a special order by you for bird season? The catalog shows the Stock in APG but does not show the barrel in APG? also it does not say available in 26" APG only 24 & 28" Advantage? I see your frustration, their catalogs and websites are allways different, but asking for things not even available and expecting to get something new real fast from Benelli is a pretty well known fact that they can't just beam you down whatever the birdman wants. I guess Berreta should sell this company for false advertisement or invent Benelli kool-aid in APG:eek:
-
welcome to forum and great looking shotgun, sure you will enjoy it just keep her well lubed if it's a wall hanger. Break it in with some high brass loads and she will be around forever! BTW WOOOOOOOPIGSOOOOOOOIE RAZORBACKS
-
Go to a store and try shouldering a few and ask if they have the short stock 20 Ga pump nova, see which one ya like cause their is no return on guns! Sorry to hear about the losses but atleast they did not mess with you! Would also say an alarm system for the house would be nice and do not expect responce time from Police to be very fast, i set mine off and it was 45 minutes from time it went off to the time they showed! But the sign in the front of the house seems to have done its job so far cause the alarm got cancled! But quality Floor Gun Safe keeps my stuff safe and my 38 +P comes to befroom with me every evening along with an extra speed loader! Would have been easier to post Scott on the corner with his 308 but they are crack dealers and he would run outta ammo too quick:D Sportmans Warehouse is a good place to fit a gun if ya have one near by, and they have real good selections of Benelli's!
-
they will answer your email and it might be a day or 2 but i feel you are just wishing! Probably not a lotta market for 10 Gauges or they would have been made long time ago!
-
The manual should have worked this time, and just get a small bottle, it says to use it like 3 times and do it just before range time so the heat will help penetrate the lube better! CLP is ok also but i would not use on outside of barrel, but militec works good on outside of barrel!
-
Italian Shotguns and American owners a good recipet for operator error, i have had none of them cause i took my time and read my manual and broke it in with some 3.5 Hevi-Shot and 30 of those almost killed me, took 2 trips to range and i do not try to use ammo that Benelli says ya can't use but i do use some light loads and it has never malfunctioned. Once ya get used to the Italian aspect of this shotgun you will not have any problems unless you do not know how to clean and maintain a quality weapon! Great that your M4 has come around and try the Militec-C it's expensive but goes a long way! Lotta people trying to multi-task with this shotgun and to me it would seem more of a home protection weapon vs hunting, bird hunting, trap and all the other stuff people us it for but to each his own!!
-
http://www.militec.com/ this is a tad bit better than remoil which i would not use on any firearm not even a remington!
-
loose the remoil, Benellis do not like remoil!! CLP or Militec-1 and you will have no more problems!!
-
Go figure rust damage is not covered
-
what kinda lubes and solvents ya using? you can get other tubes to use in it, and use some high brass rounds like mentioned above at least 2 or 3 boxes. choke tubes are reccomended to be cleaned after every outing or ya take the chance of ending up with a stuck choke tube which will rust the threads and ruin barrel! was it cleaned befor ya shot it?

She is worth most of what she got due to her being 12 years younger than i but 14K dollar Diamond could have bought 4 or 5 Cynergy's so my christmas gift should be a Browning!! Thanks for the gesture Tucker and her being a LBFM allows her to put up with my Disfunctional ways! Filipina!
